The top notes bring together coffee, cream, dates, whisky, elemi, toffee and davana, leading towards a mellow base of vanilla, sandalwood and honey.
The first impression is smooth and liqueur-like: dark-roasted coffee sits with whisky and the soft richness of cream and toffee. Dates lend a honeyed, fruity pulp, while elemi and davana add an aromatic, faintly resinous edge.
The heart revisits coffee with dark chocolate, amber and rum. This is the warmest and most spiced passage, where Amberwood lends support and extends the amber-woody character.
The drydown settles on vanilla, milkshake, benzoin, grey amber, sandalwood and honey. Vanilla-like, powdery, balsamic and honeyed facets come to the fore, with a gentle creaminess held in place by sandalwood.
