Vintage Mystique by Parfumerie de Château is an oriental floral fragrance for women and men, introduced in 2026. The nose behind it is Melissa Hoffmann.
The scent moves from almond and coffee brightened by citrus, through a generous white-flower bouquet, to a warm drydown of vanilla, woods and amber.
At the top are almond, coffee, bergamot and lime. The almond rounds off the darker coffee edge, whilst bergamot and lime lend a crisp, luminous lift.
The middle is devoted to florals: tuberose, sambac jasmine, orange blossom, Bulgarian rose and pallida iris. Luscious tuberose takes centre stage, supported by jasmine and orange blossom, with rose lending a more traditional note and iris a soft powdery finish.
Underneath lie tonka bean, cocoa, vanilla and praline alongside sandalwood, white musk, amber, cashmere, patchouli, cinnamon and cedar. This is the warmest and sweetest phase, resinous and woody with a whisper of spice.
Taken together, it feels like a white floral with almond, rose, amber and nutty nuances and a subtle animalic undertone. A full-bodied, old-school-inspired creation with an enveloping trail.
It should suit devotees of heady white flowers, tuberose and sweet orientals featuring almond, coffee and vanilla. Ideal for those who favour cosy, distinctive fragrances with timeless elegance, whatever their gender.
