About Chère Nice
Chère Nice, a Luminous Oriental Floral with a Cosy Glow
Chère Nice by Parfumerie de Château is an oriental floral fragrance for women and men, introduced in 2026.
Composed by nose Melissa Hoffmann, it balances a sparkling citrus prelude with a generous bouquet at its centre and a mellow, balsamic foundation.
Sweet orange, mandarin, bergamot and neroli open the scent. The impression is radiant and juicy, with neroli contributing a green, faintly bitter freshness that keeps it airy.
The heart centres on Turkish rose and jasmine, floral and well defined. Mimosa introduces a gentle, powdery yellow-blossom character, while ylang-ylang offers a creamy, sun-warmed fullness.
The drydown settles into patchouli, vetiver, white musk, vanilla, tonka bean and opoponax. Here the oriental aspect emerges: warm, resinous and enveloping, lifted by the clarity of musk.
In overall tone it weaves yellow floral, sweet, white floral and amber accords, alongside balsamic, powdery, woody, vanilla and rose nuances. Each stage flows naturally into the next.
Designed to be shared, it avoids leaning too far in either direction: citrus and vetiver provide structure, blossoms with vanilla and tonka provide softness and ease.
It will suit those who favour bright yet sweet oriental florals, with prominent rose and jasmine over a creamy, amber-toned base for effortless everyday wear.
Chère Nice offers a kindly, sunlit reading of the oriental floral: vivid at first, romantic through the middle, reassuring at the close. A 2026 newcomer built around harmony.
