The idea is a study in opposites: a crisp, almost flint-like freshness giving way to a deep, warm foundation of timber, black amber and vetiver.
At the top, bergamot meets mineral notes and incense. The bergamot brightens the first moments, the mineral element lends a cool, stony character, while incense contributes a restrained, faintly smoky resinousness.
Through the middle, patchouli, suede and immortelle take over. Patchouli brings soil-rich body, suede smooths the blend to a soft nap, and immortelle offers a parched, herbal-balsamic highlight.
The base rests on cedar, black amber and vetiver. Cedar provides a lean, polished structure, black amber enriches the darker, sweeter warmth, and vetiver extends a green, rooty and tidy finish.
