  A friend brought it back from the US and it reminds me very much of Yves Rocher’s Ode à l’Amour; it’s delicious, sweet, super sensual with a strong and long-lasting trail. I loved it and I’ll order it again when I return in August. It has an elegant and sumptuous opulence that screams sensuality and class; it left me in a position to bow down and worship it. What a beautiful scent. It never made it to my state, Colima, at least not in the three department stores in my city. I believe you can get it on Amazon or Mercado Libre.

  This perfume is deep, dense, mystical and super opulent. Another jewel that has me completely smitten. In Amber Mystique, from the very first moment all its notes explode, but it’s not linear: the amber, incense and rose are intense. After a few minutes I notice the raspberry and blackcurrant, finishing off with sandalwood, leather, pink pepper, ylang-ylang and a very earthy patchouli. It’s incredible how it becomes sweeter as it settles on the skin. It seduces me, invites me to play the game of seduction, it has a life of its own, it’s warm and overwhelming. It’s fine, chic, unisex, but on my skin it leans towards the feminine side. Wow, the more I smell it, the more I like it: IT’S ADDICTIVE. Its quality is marvellous, its fragrance a whole dream. The scent makes me need it, I want it. This Estée Lauder with this perfume gets a +10, what a beautiful work.

This Estée Lauder gets a +10, it’s a beautiful work of art.

  Look, if you already know the rose-oud combo, this won’t surprise you in the slightest, nor is it perfumery magic. It’s clear it’s more for her than for both. I was expecting something extraordinary, but it smells of things I already own or have tried. I think blending that oud with other aromas would make a less boring and more original product. If you like these scents, you might love it, but to me it’s a bit tiring; the only thing it has going for it is good longevity. If you like the style, there are similar options that cost half the price.

  What a surprise I had with this little bottle. To start with, the bottle is all elegance: deep red glass with gold lettering that I simply adore. Its scent is sweet amber with a touch of incense that gives it a mysterious and dense air, pink roses and that note of oud which I usually don’t like, but here it is quite well balanced. The final combination results in a sensual, nocturnal, sweet, dense and warm scent, ideal for cold climates and gala nights. Its longevity is good, over 8 hours on skin and much longer on clothes. The trail is heavy for the first hour and then moderate.
