A unique, creamy, amber scent with musk and floral notes, perfect for elegant evening wear.
Opens strong with a citrus that smells more like bergamot than the promised Amalfi lemon; soft lavender and other herbs follow. The floral phase is very subtle but lovely, sitting over the lingering citrus. The dry down is musky and amber, warm yet not sweet. A great fragrance from the early 90s, in the style of Salvador Dali (1992), with excellent longevity (over 12 hours) and moderate to strong sillage. Ideal for men with classic tastes for formal occasions. The downside: it seems discontinued (I tested it as a miniature).
It opens strong with citrus notes that, to me, sound more like bergamot than the promised Amalfi lemon. Soft lavender blends with other herbs. The floral phase is very subtle, yet no less charming, with the citrus lingering in the background. The dry down is musky and amber, warm but not sweet. A true 90s classic, in the style of Salvador Dali (1992, which I reviewed myself), with top-notch longevity (over 12 hours) and moderate to heavy sillage (without being overwhelming; the projection was excellent). Ideal for men with classic tastes for daytime formal wear. The only drawback: it appears to be discontinued (I tested it as a miniature).
