NUXE was born when Aliza Jabès bought a small Parisian laboratory specialising in natural-origin cosmetics at the beginning of the 1990s. In 1991 she launched Huile Prodigieuse, a multi-purpose oil for face, body and hair, and the brand later expanded its activity to facial, body, sun and hair care.

The perfumery took its own shape in 2012 with Prodigieux® le parfum, created from the trail of the original oil. The current catalogue separates perfumes, fragranced waters and fragranced body products, with differentiated Prodigieux and sun lines. NUXE formulates and produces its care products and perfumes in France.
