A powerful perfume that lasts a long time. It smells intensely of tiare, coconut, toasted sand, and sun. Delicious, super summery, and with a bronzing touch. It’s similar to YR’s Monoi but much better (I like the YR one but it gives me a headache and I can’t stand it).
It’s identical to Guerlain’s Terracotta (and cheaper). I bought it almost at the same time because I now crave coconut without it smelling like cake. I’m looking for natural, understated coconuts. Wow! 25 euros versus 69 for Terracotta… The performance, longevity, and trail are perfect. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase; I think I’ll get tired of it, although it’s a scent I love. A great smell.
A very good perfume for summer. It has around 90% natural ingredients, which is appreciated to avoid sun stains. It won the 2017 Fifi Awards in pharmacy perfumes, which adds points. Its scent is wonderful: exotic beach, Caribbean, tiare and coconut water. It is not overwhelming, and if you accompany it with body cream, it is sublime. It is not expensive and can be found at a good price online. I love it!

Spectacular!! I literally bathe in it and sleep in glory. I never get tired of its scent. Fresh and sweet, with fresh, tasty sweet oranges alongside coconut. Ideal for summer and any occasion, although I prefer it just after a shower and before bed in that relaxing cloud of coconut and orange. It is very similar to Lolita Lempicka’s Elle L’aime, but this leans more towards lemon and the other towards orange. Both are must-haves in my collection!

EDIT. I don’t know where I got the comparison with Guerlain’s Terracotta from, because there is nothing alike. Terracotta smells of real, milky jasmine; Nuxe is not floral at all. I like Nuxe; it would be my summery option for a not-too-hot morning, whereas Terracotta is more for evening/night for informal events. Both last a short time, but Terracotta’s is laughable (my misfortune, it is one of my favourites). Nuxe is much more citrusy, more summery and doesn’t lean creamy like Guerlain. Nothing alike.

Delicious, it’s like Guerlain’s Terracotta but they’ve swapped the jasmine note for bitter orange. It’s more of a daytime perfume, whereas Guerlain is for evening. PS: it lasts much longer than Terracotta. I have both and unfortunately Terracotta lasts very little for its price. Edit: it’s becoming terribly synthetic, I don’t know if it’s because it’s faulty or due to the heat. I ordered it online and it arrived in the middle of summer; the box was hot, perhaps it got sun exposure. I think it has gone bad and smells of overripe, rotten orange. I can’t use it; it gives me nausea. It’s very heavy and I can’t stand it. Terracotta is a thousand times better; now I understand why it’s weaker on trail and longevity, because it’s perfect for summer and those notes tend to overwhelm if they’re not in just the right measure. The projection and trail of Terracotta are perfect, and the tiare, if not well measured, tends to be overwhelming.

I’m going to try to explain my experience with this Nuxe Sun without getting too tangled up. I love the opening; it’s super summery and cheerful. Then the coconut comes through, and the amazing thing is that on my skin it isn’t cloying. Over time, it comes in bursts: citrusy, sweet but not cloying, synthetic, and finally very powdery, like talcum powder. It has nothing to do with Terracotta or Holidays, perhaps a little like Elle L’aime, but the dry-down is different. For longevity (over 10 hours), sillage, price, and being an Eau de Toilette, it is worth it. I love wearing it after a shower in summer or for work. Men have complimented it many times. I recommend it.
I understand it’s in the creamy summer line, but to say it’s a dupe of Terracotta… It doesn’t smell like a bronzer or tiare flower. It smells like a freshly opened doll. Very similar to Eau Prodigieux. I bought it blindly due to the good reviews and now I have a 30 ml bottle. If anyone is interested, please don’t hesitate to write to me.
