I love this fragrance. It seems fresh and elegant; long-lasting but not heavy at all. It makes me happy!
I absolutely love this fragrance. It seems fresh and elegant; long-lasting but nothing heavy. It makes me happy!
Original and unique so far. Fresh, sparkling, energising and long-lasting. I would wear it in the morning to go to work.

Very fresh and elegant. Perfect for summer.
I own the EDT and haven’t tried the EDP, but for me, it smells wonderful. It’s floral with a soft talc note (less than Kenzo Flower). The first thing I notice are the citrus notes, chamomile, orange blossom, roses, and a hint of geranium, finishing with sandalwood and musk over roses and rosewood. Everything is very light yet lasts all day. The EDT endures for over six hours. Ideal for daily wear if you like feeling enveloped in a cheerful pink talc halo that accompanies you. I didn’t know it and bought it blindly; it has been a great surprise. I live in a cold, dry climate and I love moving around with a perfumed air surrounding me.

I really like the opening, very 90s, it even seems to smell like peach, but the dry-down is a bouquet of white flowers that don’t thrill me. The longevity is a bit scarce, I suppose it has been reformulated. Anyway, I think it’s a good perfume for formal contexts; it doesn’t overwhelm but leaves a light soapy mist. The price is another point in its favour, and the bottle is so vintage with those marble veins that it’s hard to resist including it in the collection.
I love it. My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas in 2015 when we were in Rome. My daughter always tells me that this scent reminds her of Europe; we are Chilean.
The scent of CERRUTI 1881 POUR FEMME is floral and very soft. It’s almost impossible to discern a specific flower among all the ones it says it has. If anything, I notice a pale rose and a very fragile jasmine. The ensemble is like a bunch of tender and innocent little flowers, small childish voices going for a walk in the countryside hand in hand, afraid of getting lost. If you sharpen your ears, you can hear their sighs and barely sketched smiles, but the image of the whole in the distance gives tenderness and innocence. It’s a romantic and teenage fragrance, perfect for giving to that girl in your family who wants to smell elegant without overdoing it. The trail is soft and the duration is moderate. It can be used in any circumstance, place, or season. Its price is very affordable, a good option for everyday wear.
I’m not sure if the one I tried in the shop was expired, because the first contact with my skin was horrible. It smells rancid and old, a scent so strong that I barely enjoyed the other notes. Does anyone else experience this? After a few hours, that acidic and saturated slap fades away, leaving a lovely scent of white flowers, talc, cleanliness, and roses, which invades even the clothes with a very feminine trail. I’ll try it again in another shop, because I don’t understand that initial smell that lasts two hours and even makes you cough.
Just arrived today in the 50ml version. I’m at the office, wrapped in an exquisite floral scent so complex I can’t distinguish any single note. That said, my handkerchief is so saturated that only a meteorite destroying the Earth could remove the fragrance. Haha. On my skin it lingers, noticeable but moderately, very delicate and feminine. I’m sure everyone I’ve passed has noticed it. I’ve wanted it for ages, but as it’s one of my best friend’s classic perfumes, I never bought it. How wrong I’ve been all this time… it’s like having her right here with me!

I’d been wanting this fragrance for a while due to the good reviews, and finally I have it. Although it doesn’t set my heart on fire, I use it for everyday wear. It’s totally soapy and powdery, like Kenzo Flower but cleaner, with violets, lilies, and neroli that make it floral without being cloying. It’s intense and lingers on the nose for a long time. The dry-down is soft; the first thing you notice is the soapy aspect. I like it clean but not powdery. I think it’s perfect for daytime, especially on those summer days with heat and rain that leave a scent of wet earth.
I tried it and liked it, although in the end I didn’t buy it again.
It brings back memories of my mother; she used to wear it in the 90s.
At first, it smells bitter to me and I can’t identify what, but the perfume itself is good and long-lasting. It starts citrusy, turns into a soft floral by the hour, but on my skin it feels very woody, almost unisex.
It seems very fresh, with citrus and flowers in full bloom, and a woody base that gives it a pleasant touch. It lasts quite a while and isn’t heavy, ideal for daytime wear, though it’s not one of those that leaves you speechless.
It has me obsessed. Regardless of whether everyone likes it, it is an example of what is no longer done. I suppose since 1995 it has undergone changes, but it retains a strength that many modern enriched perfumes lack. It has personality. It is economical and versatile. Why isn’t it more popular? For the same reasons. It smells like 1995. It’s like a garden floating around you. Like with Josesan, I struggle to separate the flowers: perhaps there is mimosa and rose, but without the olfactory pyramid, frankly, I don’t see any. I seem to perceive a very 90s peach that doesn’t appear on the list. The whole is powdery, but surprisingly fresh and soapy. It is a serene scent, if such a thing makes sense. Is this what is in vogue in 2021? Well, no. There is nothing gourmand, nor bright nor childish. There is nothing that reminds me of others, because before houses sought distinction. Today they follow the fashion of what is fashionable. From imposing their own trends, they have become followers of mediocrity, lack of identity and creative boredom. I have been testing perfumes of all kinds for years. Isn’t it sad that a 1995 perfume should come to surprise me? I perceive it differently each day: some days it is floral talc, other times musky, an herbal soap with a certain bitterness, sometimes sandalwood peeks out and other times the citrus notes want to take centre stage. It has a romantic and melancholic tone that is difficult to describe, but it is a ‘positive’ melancholy; perhaps the most suitable word is nostalgia. Nostalgia because this perfume did not intend to be sexy, nor to ‘coddle’ its wearer. I see a more elegant and professional vocation, understanding elegance as simplicity and savoir-faire. Classic without being boring. A bargain that I am sure would sell like hot cakes and at a golden price if the label said Dusita or Penhaligon’s. It is clearly a youthful scent, only that the young woman wearing it now is around 45-50 years old. I don’t mean to say that a 20-year-old girl couldn’t wear it in 2021, but this young woman is not a fan of making pouty selfies, listening to Maluma, or wearing long acrylic nails. Please forgive the Maluma fans. I also listen to embarrassing things and even enjoy them. The pouts and nails are another matter entirely.
It has me obsessed. Regardless of whether you like it more or less, it’s an example of what is no longer done. I suppose since 1995 it has suffered multiple mutilations, yet it retains a strength that many recent EDPs would envy. It has personality. It’s affordable and versatile. Why isn’t it more popular? For the same reasons. It smells like 1995. It’s a garden floating around you. Like my companion Josesan, I find it complicated to separate the variety of flowers; perhaps I perceive mimosa and something of rose, but without the olfactory pyramid, frankly, I wouldn’t find any. I seem to perceive a very 90s peach not listed. The whole is powdery but surprisingly fresh and soapy. It’s a serene scent, if that makes sense. Is this what’s in vogue in 2021? It’s a sexy and sensual scent that awakens passion. I love it on a woman, a 10/10 aroma, feminine, floral, exquisite, one of those you never get tired of smelling. Recommended for every woman. Best regards!
This scent is my mother. She uses it non-stop since it was released; although she has tried others, she always returns to it. It has moderate sillage and brutal longevity. Moreover, it’s ultra-affordable. One of the few powdery scents that doesn’t give me a headache.
I find it a very pleasant scent, clean and simple, nothing complicated, with a certain classic air, very easy to wear during the day. Apparently, it carries countless notes as before; I detect much mimosa and a powdery scent that lasts the entire life of the perfume. I think it’s suitable in spring and perhaps early autumn. It has moderate projection and more than acceptable longevity. I would buy blind if you like powdery scents with yellow flowers and want something simple without complications.
I loved this fragrance! I say it in the past tense because the last bottle wasn’t the same, which saddened me greatly. It was one of my two signature fragrances for years, and I used several bottles. People complimented me, and since it wasn’t very well-known, I liked feeling I smelled different. Suddenly it disappeared from perfumeries a few years ago, and when it returned, it didn’t smell the same nor last as long. What a pity with the reformulations; although it remains versatile, lovely, and cheap, it’s far from the original.
I enjoyed the old version, potent and long-lasting. A green, powdery aroma, not for everyone. The mimosa is very noticeable. It’s very vintage, feminine, and tender, from the Chanel 19 Poudrée family but more powdery. You need to be of a certain age to wear it; I see it as a mature, vintage scent.
In a bygone era, I knew someone who wore this and swore every movement smelled of that pleasant aroma. Powdery, soapy, and classy, a clean scent with great personality. It’s all-rounder, suitable for any occasion, and relaxing after a bath to prepare for sleep. It clings to the body, unobtrusive, and ultra-long-lasting. What I like most is its dry-down and evolution; new trends may have nice openings but sometimes fail when drying. Highly recommended at a price of 10. Here we have the sample: to smell good and classy, you don’t need to spend a fortune.
I’m a lover of fine perfume and a collector of everything: Italian, French, Arab, high-end. But I study what I buy. It was young when Nino Cerruti launched this for men in 1995; it was successful, and then he created this beautiful one for women. I remember my aunties in modelling and cinema buying it; I used to steal it to go to school and smelled of an enchanted garden. Coming home from school, the perfume went with me like a shadow. Now I’ve bought it again, not reformulated, it makes me so happy! Cerruti didn’t give it the respect it deserved; he was too wrapped up in fashion and Hollywood, but this perfume was a success. It surprises me every day: it changes nuances according to the season, white flowers in spring, it evolves. Any woman can wear it, no age limit. I recommend it 100%. If they say it smells different, it’s a copy. This one has not been reformulated.
It’s missing something, I don’t know what. Perhaps I prefer spicier fragrances or those with a sweet floral heart. It’s good when you want something clean-smelling without being overpowering, especially if you wear a coconut or cherry lotion underneath. Perfect for those fresh days at the start of spring.
What a pity, it runs out in the blink of an eye. I bought it in 2024. It has that romantic, powdery, lovely touch, but it’s flat, lacking nuances or evolution. It leaves me half-expecting it to offer more, yet it never arrives. I won’t be buying it again.
