Eau de Dali by Salvador Dali is a green floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1995, the nose behind this composition is Karoline Vieth-Buxton. The top notes evoke green leaves, lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, peach and pineapple; the heart reveals a harmony of rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, iris and ylang-ylang; while the base notes settle into sandalwood, amber, cedar, plum and vanilla.

It evokes sunshine, pure air, and a spring day in the countryside. At first, it smells citrusy, but then the fruits and a hint of floral notes emerge, making it more complex. I imagine it on an active, dynamic woman heading to work early on a sunny morning. However, it doesn’t stay as fresh when it settles for a very hot day, and its trail on my skin isn’t the best.
A blend of citrus (lemon) and pepper, very pleasant and fresh for the heat. I picked it up in Andorra at a small shop selling vintage perfumes, but you can’t find it here. I bought it because the bottle is gorgeous and artistic, so now I keep it as a decorative piece.
Absolutely the best thing that’s ever happened to me! It’s a wild, fruity, musky, and floral madness that projects beautifully and lasts for hours. The only scent that comes close is Dot by Marc Jacobs, but that’s an EDT. Givenchy Irresistible reminds me of it a little, though it’s creamier and more floral than this glorious Dali 😍. It also carries notes reminiscent of Lancôme’s Tresor In Love.
