  • If you like leather, here is a well-crafted, economical, and masculine fragrance with a delicious, warm, very seductive, and super-imposing dry-down. Recommended.

  • julemoal64

My review with my wife: she defines it as an elegant, woody perfume that smells like an alpha male; she likes its leather, patchouli, and moss dry-down. Here we have a strong opening where cardamomo and a sharp patchouli dominate, before turning into a very well-crafted leather. Excellent perfume as an economical alternative with its resemblance to TF’s OL; it’s about 80% similar. However, TF’s OL is undoubtedly the king of kings above anyone who imitates it. I recommend it for men over 30; it’s not easy to like at first glance, not a blind buy, but once tested, it’s loved a lot. Not for daily wear, but perfect for a romantic date. 9/10 points. Cheers.

One of the best clones I’ve tried; all its notes are identical except perhaps the floral part, which is slightly overshadowed by the leather, unlike in the original Ombre Leather. Still, it’s an unquestionable purchase if you like this DNA, as the performance and trail are also very, very close.

  • KRATOSGAMER666

Short version: it smells practically identical to Ombre Leather and has the same type of performance.

  • This clone offers excellent value for money. Watch out! It cannot be compared with Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather, which has a much more refined and classy leather, without that sense of heaviness this fragrance has. Still, it’s a good option for the price, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, so go for it, poor thing!

  • It tries to mimic Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather but, in my opinion, falls halfway there. It smells ultra-synthetic and chemical, like those cheap neighbourhood designer copies. If you can’t afford Tom Ford, it could be a valid alternative, but if you can already pay for it, go for the original every time. It lacks the finesse and finish of the original; it’s a clumsier copy.

  • Not a bad smell, but it’s not Tom Ford. This one smells of fine leather, like polished shoes or car seats; the Arabic version smells like car air freshener with interesting nuances, but that’s where it stops. I’ll give it time, as they say you need to let it mature. With these Arabic perfumes, it’s always better to try a sample before spending on the bottle.

  • It is the perfume I use least from my collection, with bursts full of contrasts that evoke different things in me. At times I feel a very petrolised and dirty leather, while in other situations I notice a synthetic fruity touch, giving it the scent of a bus seat after years of sweat and cheap red fruit air freshener. Although it smells masculine, I find no moments for use except with a leather jacket. The longevity is strong at first but recedes quickly.

Here is my review of this perfume: Maison Alhambra gifts us dupe fragrances with scents 99% similar to the originals, and Amber & Leather is no exception. They give us a Tom Ford Ombre Leather at 99% similarity for a lower cost, but surprisingly it has better longevity and trail than the original Tom Ford, an incredible 3 in the seasons. It can be worn on rainy days, at night, in winter, autumn, summer evenings, and it looks excellent.

Here is my review: Maison Alhambra gifts dupes with scents 99% similar to the originals, and Amber & Leather is no exception. They give us a Tom Ford Ombre Leather at 99% similarity for a lower cost, but surprisingly it has better longevity and sillage than the original Tom Ford. It is incredible for three seasons: rainy days, evenings, winter, autumn, and summer nights, and it leaves an excellent impression.

  • I’ve used it several times… It reminds me of a limited edition of Axe Instinct, but with more potency. It is true that this perfume is a love-hate affair. The times I’ve worn it have suited me well, and one special occasion was a wedding. I applied it to my skin and a little on my clothes. During the party, amidst the noise of the bride and groom’s rituals, tequila was spilled on my outfit; it’s incredible that the perfume’s scent prevailed over the alcohol and lasted until the following morning. Both my skin and clothes remained impregnated with the fragrance, completely overpowering the smell of the tequila. In summary, it’s a beast of a perfume; in my opinion, it doesn’t have much of a trail—of at least a metre—but the longevity, uh, personally, I tolerate that burnt tyre opening because I know that 30 minutes later, it’s a gem! Scent: 8.5 Longevity: 10 Sillage: 9.0 Versatility: 6.0

  • Amber & Leather is an excellent clone of Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, with performance that matches and sometimes even surpasses the original. Personally, its aromatic profile doesn’t entirely appeal to me, but I recognise it is a very well-made fragrance for leather lovers. Intense leather predominates, evocative of a freshly polished shoe, without being animalistic. Alongside the leather, there is a balance with soft notes such as cardamom, jasmine, and patchouli. I recommend trying it before buying, as it is one of those fragrances where you either love it or hate it. You will attract compliments, but also looks of disapproval. Nevertheless, if you like it, enjoy it! Life is short.

  • lartrev@hotmail.com

I couldn’t handle it, even though I usually enjoy these notes; this perfume made me dizzy and gave me nausea… Just to clarify, this is my personal reaction. I ended up gifting it to someone who actually liked it…

  • At 42, this isn’t for the young anymore. It smells of very strong leather, something gunpowder-like, and talcum powder. Ideal for night outings with a leather jacket on your rebel motorcycle—it looks luxurious. Now available at a super price, around $30-40. Two sprays are sufficient and you’ll smell until the next day; don’t exceed two or three. It lasts days on clothes. Once dry, it’s very pleasant and powdery, but the first hours are pure ‘alpha male’; it goes brilliantly with formal wear, weddings, or special events. It projects an elegant, bossy character.

  • Alexrojas2908

It lasts an incredibly long time. I’ve received compliments, but people also tell me it smells like a brand-new car. Hahaha.

  • I sprayed it at 7am and it was still detectable at 5:30pm, but be careful with the amount. I tried the original Ombre Leather at a trend shop and the leather note felt fresher and more pleasant there. The opening is very aggressive, but it mellows out later, leaving a talcum powder scent; the leather fades too. I recommend it, but you need character: it’s for cold weather or evenings. Two or three sprays are enough; if you overdo it, it becomes uncomfortable, though it remains elegant.

  • Is it really 99% identical to Ombre Leather? Were they deceived smelling the Tom Ford? They’re similar only in leather, jasmine, and the black bottle; if anyone says otherwise, they’ve never smelled the original or seen what it says. Stop selling smoke and call things by their names: it has an air of the original, but the olfactory quality difference is absurd. Don’t rely so much on TikTok or borrowed noses; go smell the original at a perfumery.

  • It doesn’t just release, it explodes and is frightening. Then it settles and shows some complexity. It’s the leather of Ombre Leather, as I recall, but I’m not sure if it resembles it; they’d need to be smelled to compare. It doesn’t last long, note, I didn’t abuse the sprays for fear of overwhelming those nearby. It’s not an easy-to-wear EdT; the leather smells of harnesses and I don’t know who would want to smell like that. If it’s original, classic leathers aren’t for steaks like this. Who would wear it? Someone wanting to show off ruggedness, women playing at masculinity, leather or motorbike men, perhaps a blacksmith… honestly, I don’t see mechanics using it. I definitely can’t imagine a lawyer or accountant using it (maybe a creative advertiser).

  • Rich but mature, ideal for intense cold or night. It may bother children; the leather fades after 4 hours and then settles with a powdery scent, perhaps due to the amber. Tip: layer it with another sweet perfume, like an amber on the neck; 2 or 3 sprays put something sweet on your clothes, like a dupe. With Invitus, the Kromo Black or Hayati notes come through and it’s delicious, masking a bit of that strong leather opening.

  • lalotafoya

Starts with an explosion of old cardamom and something animalic. As it settles, it recalls Ombre Leather, but as if you left it in the sun until it rotted… it smells of dirty, old leather with a touch of synthetic red fruits, almost corrosive. It’s one of the worst I’ve tried, though I adore the inspiration; after an hour it calms down, but remains synthetic and irritating, as if it could burn you. A bad idea for such a beautiful perfume; if you want to draw attention (in a bad way), it’s yours. I was disappointed, I’m a fan of Arabic perfumery and this is terrible.

  • Donfinolis

Smells masculine; not for everyone if you seek compliments, but if you want something distinct from the common, like a new leather jacket, go for it; it takes a bit at first, then becomes your favourite.

  • KatrinDiederich

Delicate, fresh, and relaxing opening, not intense or heavy. After a few minutes, it settles into a soft, slightly warm note, very comforting. Subtle yet perceptible, ideal for daytime or quiet evenings.

  • Not recommended for the youngsters; they’ll say ‘you smell like shoe polish’ or ‘what a great scent’ at first, until you let it mature for two months. It’s for men aged 26 and up. I, without a doubt, think it’s worth trying because you’ll adore it.

  • Brutally synthetic scent. I now use it only for my seats, shoes, guitar case lining, and leather bags; yet it still smells of a tannery workshop soaked in alcohol and grease. Let them dry for a full day. Not a good start for Leather. NEVER compare it to the original Tom Ford, which is exquisite: it smells of fine, fresh, cured, and fleshy leather. The Maison A version smells of plastic, burnt, and alcohol. I understand wanting to save with dupes, but sometimes you shouldn’t follow the hype, especially with such strong fragrances. Same with Tobacco + Vanilla: test on skin and clothes first. In Germany, I find second-hand Tom Ford for €50 (50ml used, 5ml left), paying €1.30 per ml, instead of €20 for 100ml of something horrendous. Leaving this to avoid tragedies 🙂

  • I trusted nothing in reviews here, and while many say only a few Maison Alhambra perfumes are worth it, I was lucky to try it in-store and loved it immensely. It’s a leather that doesn’t smell too synthetic to my nose, or perhaps they improved it with the name change to Opulence Leather. Maybe the perfect weather for such scents played a part, but whatever the case, it surprised me and I’m already thinking of buying it.

  • boris steven

I love the thrill of blind buys, and Maison Alhambra’s Amber & Leather was exactly that. I was seeking something with character, that scent of new leather shoes or a freshly washed car, and this delivered: rich, slightly animalic yet elegant. Initially unfamiliar with Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, I enjoyed it on its own. Months later, I tested it in a perfumery, and the similarity is striking. Returning to compare with the Amber, I’d say only an expert would catch subtle nuances. Even after hours, the Amber retains more body and longevity than the Tom Ford, which fades sooner. It smells of varnished leather, enveloping and sophisticated, neither dry nor aggressive (only initially), warm with an amber base that balances it. It’s the perfume to wear with your leather jacket, mature, ideal for those aged 27 and up. A word of warning: if you’re young and seeking something mainstream, this isn’t for you. It has immense personality and requires knowing how to wear it. The performance is surprising: 6-7 hours or more, moderate but distinguished projection. Not a beast, but noticeable within your personal bubble, radiating class and ruggedness. Apply 6+ sprays and it becomes a true beast. If you crave leather and that experience, I recommend it. Perfect for cool nights, formal events, or whenever you wish to project security and style. A gem from Maison Alhambra that challenges its luxury inspiration.

  • Extremely similar to Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather. A marked opening of bergamot and leather from the very first moment, before turning into a sweeter leather due to the presence of jasmine. Highly masculine with impressive longevity given its low price. To be honest, I sprayed it in my wardrobe so my clothes smell like leather; after a month, every time I opened the wardrobe I could still detect the characteristic scent of Opulence Leather. It is not for every nose, but certainly for those who enjoy the scent of sweet leather.

  • Manuel Adami

I have tried the Tom Ford version and I believe no one could distinguish in the air which is from Maison Alhambra and which is from TF, so the choice is easy. The scent is spectacularly well-crafted and the quality is very good. The performance is also worth talking about. If you want to know how Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather smells or add a leather fragrance to your collection, go for this Maison Alhambra one; it is a good starting point. Recommended.

  • A powerhouse with a sticky presence from the first spray: leather, cardamom and exquisite amber with patchouli at the base. It lasts over 8 hours on clothes and 6-7 on skin, even after showering. Sometimes it fatigues the nose, but it is ideal for cold nights with a suit and a glass of cognac or bourbon. It is a dupe of Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather in every rule; if you like these notes, it is a blind buy.

  • Having purchased the 30ml version (now Opulence Leather), I can assure you it is a crazy dupe, achieving an incredible resemblance to Tom Ford. The scent is very masculine and I see it for men from 20 years old onwards; it features a very high-quality, easy-to-love leather note. Perhaps it is not easy to wear, so I recommend buying a small bottle. The longevity is superior to current batches of Ombre Leather.

  • AnthonyClassDJ

Currently known as Opulence Leather following Tom Ford’s complaints, but in my opinion, it is 95% identical to the TF original… and I’m not exaggerating. I’ve used a full bottle of the genuine article and won’t buy another since discovering this dupe. It has magnificent longevity and quality; I believe the TF version lasts about an hour and a bit, but I need to let this Opulence Leather macerate. I’ve read that after two months it improves significantly in scent and performance. For now, I give it a 9; I’m super happy with this sexy, masculine fragrance. A laughable price: €16, what more could you ask for?

  • elemperadorleparfume

An incredible dupe, no loss whatsoever. It is very similar to Toscano Leather as they share key notes such as leather, amber, and moss. I recommend it for men over 25, as it is a robust and mature scent. It conveys security, power, masculinity, and maturity. Perfect for formal occasions or elegant evening dates. In short, a very well-executed dupe with nothing to envy from Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather. For me, it is one of Maison Alhambra’s crown jewels, alongside Jean Lowe Inmortal and Philos Pura.

  • EnriqueSeguraJ

Quite oily and intense (two sprays are enough); the trail is rich (in summary: leather)… but it is complicated. I knew Toscano Leather with sweet raspberry after resting, quite pleasant; Rare Carbon with the intense violet leaf… for presentation it is the most beautiful. Although Opulence Leather has the ugliest bottle of the three, I think the scent is pleasant and refined, for people who dress finely. Of the three, it is the most versatile and generates more confidence. They share a similar leather note. Order: Amber & Leather, Toscano, Rare Carbon. Obviously, better for 35 years and above. Toscano can be more wearable due to its sweetness.

  • I recommend it without doubt. Like any Arabic fragrance, you must let it macerate to see how good it smells. It is a leather with dark raspberry, very elegant and distinct from everything else out there. For an utterly ridiculous price, it has been one of my best blind buys in a long time. It didn’t reach £14 on Perfumes 24h. Longevity, quality and trail are more than enough for the price; minimum 8 hours and on clothes it’s hard to wash it off. By the way, it is now called Opulence Leather.

  • mi_moreno_go

It gave me instant nausea. I’m not a critic, but even with a trained nose and expecting it to mature, I couldn’t stand the smell. Despite the good reviews, buying it blind was a mistake. It smells very strong, synthetic, deep, animalic and unpleasant. If you don’t have experience with potent leathers, don’t start with this. That said, it lasts forever; after six hours and even after showering, I could still detect it clinging to my skin.

  • In summary: leather. But not the sophisticated badboy kind nor the refined Tuscan type; it’s something rougher. Imagine three brothers and this is the eldest to whom life has dealt a blow; he now has three families and a lover. It is what the badboy dreams of regarding rawness. The quality is inferior to the base, but not by much. It’s polished leather with that black, pasty grease used to care for your grandfather’s boots. Bestial performance, easily lasts 6-7 hours and projects well. Not for day wear or heat. Rich, I like it. Scent 8/10, Price 9/10, Projection 9/10, Longevity 8/10.
