Carlos, you’re going to bankrupt me. It smells good, yes, but it’s not for everyone. The only compliment came from the person who expected it most. It’s woody, smoky, with incense. Lasts 3 hours on skin and over 6 on clothes. Projects well for the first hour. It’s not bad, but it lacks the mass appeal that’s in fashion right now.
I only detect the incense, the smoke, and the vetiver. After half an hour, I start to like it. It’s okay, but not something to go crazy over.

The description says it’s leather and the truth is… Not at all! This is pure incense, somewhat smoky; you can barely detect the clove and a little cinnamon, but nothing else. Personally, I didn’t like it, as I don’t like incense at first, but it also doesn’t smell bad. Simply, it’s not something I would wear.

A rich scent if you’re able to perceive it… I think you could empty the whole bottle and nobody would notice beyond a metre. It’s bottled magic!!
Harry Potter Ambition is an oriental-woody fragrance with a ritualistic inspiration, blending incense, smoke, and spices with a warm base of leather and amber. Another one from Carlos Rubio… What I notice is an aromatic fragrance, very pleasant, soft, green, and floral. The incense and smoke, personally, I don’t pick up on them; it’s not dark at all, quite the opposite. What stands out most is a greenness, a fresh vetiver. It smells very classic but with a modern touch. The fragrance notes are the same as on the official website, but Primor’s description is completely different and in my case fits better. Primor: Bergamot, apple, blackcurrant, iris powder, violet leaf oil, white flowers and a touch of rose, musk, sandalwood, patchouli, and a hint of vanilla. Unless they have reformulated and changed the product… the descriptions don’t match. The character is purely youthful. It goes with everything, would be a good signature. As I said before, it smells very good, lasts a whole day, about 7 hours, and remains perceptible. Correct for a 20-euro merchandising product, with very cool packaging and bottle.

I picked this up today straight after Carlos Rubio’s recommendation on YouTube. I tested it in-store alongside Ambition and Wison, and they are worlds apart. This smells of wood and incense, reminding me of freshly sharpened pencils. The projection is soft, nothing aggressive, but I’ll test it today to see how it performs in terms of longevity and sillage.
I bought it today thanks to Carlos Rubio’s review on his channel. I tried this one, Ambition, and Wison in-store. They are very different from each other. This one smells of wood with an incense note to me; it reminds me of pencils when you use the sharpener. It doesn’t have great projection; it’s more soft. Although I will test it today to check the longevity and projection.
I bought it thanks to @CarlosRubioPerfumes’ review indicating its similarity to Loewe 7, which is my favourite, and I have to say it resembles it a lot. It lasts 5 hours and then fades to skin scent. I work as a taxi driver, so the aroma is very contained, hehe.

On my skin, it reminds me a lot of Loewe 7 and Encre Noir; here the vetiver stands out a lot, but with a slightly sweeter twist than the original Lalique. It has a moderate projection and, for now, I can’t comment on the longevity. I think it’s an ideal fragrance for everyday wear.
