Descripción

Annayake Pour Elle by Annayake is a green floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2000, this composition was created by perfumers Lucas Sieuzac and Emilie Coppermann. In its opening, the scent unfolds with top notes of tea, bergamot and fig leaves; the heart reveals the delicacy of blue lotus and wild flower; while the base settles on musk and woody nuances.

  • From the start, I see it as unisex, suitable all year round, day or night. Its male counterpart is darker and less appealing. It stands out for its spirituality and tranquility without losing sensuality thanks to the cleanliness of its notes. The green and floral aromas fit perfectly and soar high; the freshness is strong, nothing discreet. The tea is in good harmony, it’s long-lasting and uplifting. It feels like a garden with a touch of oriental flair. Its vivacity, joy, and spiritual charge make it unique in its genre, and yes, it is also sensual. Very interesting and noticeable.

  • It’s striking that a single-edition 100 ml EDP is so special; its projection is high and incredibly relaxing, even for evening wear with just a few sprays. Although they don’t say it, it smells of rose and cypress, which are indeed in the formula. It’s a breath of nature traversing a green world of flowers and tea, creating an aquatic garden that conveys peace and brings out the best in you. It doesn’t aim to be sensual but is, and the entire journey is a unique natural experience. It’s like visiting Eden and very interesting; trying it costs nothing.

Annayake Pour Elle is very close to its brother Pour Lui; they are both super unisex. I think either version can be worn by anyone, it just depends on personal taste. Here, the floral note is wilder, like natural countryside, with no delicate bouquets. It smells fresh but strong, with a wonderful zen aura. Definitely for daytime, versatile in all seasons (it just depends on how you layer it). Its oriental soul is better than other Japanese fragrances. The quality of the ingredients is notable.

  • Although it’s marketed for women, I see it as quite unisex. It feels very aquatic, green, and refreshing. It’s an elegant and versatile scent where I detect a strong lotus flower. To my nose, it’s like picking up a CK One and adding notes that make it more sophisticated and less citrusy. I see it as ideal for all year round, especially spring and summer for that freshness and cleanliness. It’s a safe bet to take to work or the office.

  • Even though it’s marketed for her, I find it super unisex. It smells aquatic and green, very refreshing. It’s elegant and versatile, with lots of lotus notes. To my nose, it’s like a CK One but more sophisticated and less citrusy. Perfect all year round, especially spring and summer for that clean sensation. A safe bet for the office.

  • What a fresh discovery, a blended green that shines with lotus, bergamot and musk. You can detect the wood and fig leaf, but everything is very soft. It smells super feminine to me because of that potent musk. I love that it stays clean all day. If you like greens, give it a try. Niche quality, brutal longevity, it lasted 12 hours at full strength, with a moderate sillage.
