Knowing Kurkdjian created this, I knew it would suit me. I live on the coast and I’m looking for serenity. Acqua Celestia Forte is like watching a horizon where sky and sea blend, with light and heat. It’s magical, avoiding excess and opulence but maintaining sophistication. Incredibly fresh, revitalising and therapeutic. The Mexican lime is achieved with petit grain, a herbal and floral base perfectly balanced, almost unisex. In a coastal spring climate of 15°C, it lasted eight hours projecting six, which is a lot. Citrus herbal opening; middle dominated by mint with a slight solar sensation; finish with residual mint and musky jasmine. Tremendous fragrance in its own world.
Words fail me, I love it. It’s subtle, soft and you can’t stop smelling it. It has a moderate trail but stays on the skin for up to eight hours, impressive.
The opening is a Mancera Limón Line with steroids: incredible. It’s as if you’ve just cut a lemon and the juice has splashed on you, super natural and realistic. The heart has a clean, soft jasmine, and the base is an incredible musk. This is what quality is called. I wish I had the money to wear it as my signature scent; it lasts seven hours and the trail drops to the sixth hour. I see it as unisex and anyone would like it.
Another failed attempt this summer to find an all-rounder that lasts. Acqua Celestia Forte is ideal for feeling fresh after a shower: citrus, floral and green, all very balanced, though I noticed a bit more of the musk, peppermint and hedione. From the start, it clings closely to the skin; by four hours it’s basically just musky. I tested it on a scorching Barcelona summer and it didn’t last six hours on the skin. It seems to me to be a very well-made unisex for good weather, but quite ‘meh’ for those who just want to smell clean; you can get something with equal efficacy for 200€ less, although with slightly lower quality. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 3/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 6/10
Absolutely delicious! Yes, it is pricey, but it’s totally worth it.
