Oud wood and rose open the composition, vanilla forms the heart, and incense with white musk makes up the base. Expect an ambery, woody and floral profile with musky softness and spice that turns from fresh to warm.
The opening sets resinous oud wood against a clear, floral rose. The rose keeps the darkness in check, so the first impression feels rich yet legible rather than heavy.
Vanilla then takes over completely in the middle. It lends a rounded, almost creamy sweetness that links the rose to the wood and brings the amber accord to the fore.
In the base, incense adds a smoky, resinous depth while white musk freshens and smooths. This light musky veil is what makes the otherwise dense oriental sit comfortably on different skins.
