  This Azzaro smells wonderful; it feels classic but not old. It has a distant echo of the original (very distant, luckily). It was a blind buy and a total success. The only thing is that the trail is moderate, rather low. Scent 8/10, versatility 8/10, trail 5/10, longevity 6/10.

  I bought it blindly and it turned out brilliant. It smells super original; I can’t find a wink to anything I know. I agree with Don K: it’s classic but modern, it sounds strange but that’s how it is. It doesn’t smell like burnt weed or plant, but rather a very well-executed papaya or exotic fruit that sometimes gives off a sunscreen or beach cosmetics vibe. I’d define it as a fruity soap: fruity at the start (modern) and soapy at the end (classic). PS: The photo doesn’t do it justice; the bottle is gorgeous in real life and the materials feel of very high quality.

  I also bought it blindly and it turned out great. It smells very original; I can’t see any similarity or style with anything I know. I agree with Don K: it smells classic yet modern, it sounds odd but that’s how it is. I don’t smell burnt cannabis or the plant, but rather a well-executed papaya or exotic fruit that at times smells like sunscreen or beach products. I’d define it as a fruity soap: fruity at the start (modern) and soapy at the base (classic). PS: The photo doesn’t do it justice; the bottle is more beautiful in person and the materials are of good quality.

  I grabbed this blindly because of the cannabis note and the price. I wondered if it actually smells like weed, as there are few perfumes using it and this is the cheapest. The opening is intense, green, and slightly soapy, with juicy synthetic papaya giving it a tropical touch. The evolution is slow; the initial freshness fades, and after half an hour, you’re left with a sweet hashish scent, resinous and peculiar. It doesn’t just smell like that, but it’s clearly noticeable. It’s original and doesn’t resemble anything else. I don’t see it for daily use, perhaps at a concert or jazz festival.

It’s versatile because it’s not invasive and plays with the duality of an enveloping freshness that provides warmth. It lasts between eight and ten hours (on my skin), and the base notes remain at the end well close to the skin, like a soft caress. An interesting find at an accessible price.

  A simple fragrance that reminds me of others due to its initial notes. On my skin, it lasts almost eight hours, which is very good for its price. Ideal for daily use without being tiring. I agree with many reviews.

  I’ve had it for a couple of days, I sprayed it on my hand to write this review and what can I say, I love it. It’s a scent I thought was lost; maybe it resembles others, but to me it reminds me of the lost gem that was Roberto Capucci’s ‘Hypnose’ from 1967, which I owned in 1995. This Azzaro is super pleasant and timeless, green and sweet with something citrusy and sparkling. Obviously, the cannabis doesn’t smell burnt or bitter and invasive plant matter; quite the opposite. It’s very social and versatile. 100% recommended. PS: I bought it blindly in 75ml and I’m already thinking about getting another bottle in case it gets discontinued. Regards.

  I’ve had it for a few days, tried it on my wrist, and what can I say: I love it. It’s a scent I thought was lost; perhaps it resembles others, but for me, it’s like a lost gem: Roberto Capucci’s Hypnose from 1967, which I acquired in 1995. Azzaro is super pleasant, timeless, green and sweet with a touch of citrus and sparkle. The cannabis doesn’t smell like combustion or bitter, invasive plant life; quite the opposite. It’s sociable and versatile. 100% recommended. PS: It was a blind buy in 75 ml, and I’m already thinking of buying another one in case it gets discontinued. Best regards.

Fruity and herbal, it stands out for its well-integrated cannabis note, in just the right measure, making it interesting and bold. Recommend it for breaking away from the ordinary, sitting between extroversion and classicism, combining with both. Versatile for any age, season, or moment. Very original, ideal for collectors as there are no similar alternatives, perfect for marking distinction with a gem from this Italian-French designer.

  A potent herbal and green sensation, intense like fragrances from another time. The cannabis note is noticeable but doesn’t dominate, evoking the scent of green plant life, perhaps a freshly cut stem. It’s familiar yet doesn’t recall anything specific, very original. Good performance; noticeable all night (about six hours). Discreet projection. Perhaps it’s an ‘outsider’, suited for an era when trends were elsewhere; in the eighties, it would have fitted perfectly, like a cologne for men aged thirty and up. Not youthful, despite some opinions to the contrary. Excellent value for money.

As it develops, you feel that controversial cannabis note: not in combustion, but an uncommon herbal scent that is very pleasant. Later on, that herbal tone blends with woods. If you’re looking for something different and economical, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I detect it for about five hours with a moderate trail for the first hour and a half, then it drops to soft.   True, AZZARO CLUB is a pure aromatic woody scent as the description states. What doesn’t quite fit is the note map: lemon, papaya, marijuana, cypress, and musk. The lemon is there, but not as a pure citrus; it’s camouflaged in a thick, resinous wood that buries it in a delicious mud, more terrestrial than Leo’s solar fruit. AZZARO CLUB is fixed Earth, more Taurus than Capricorn or Virgo; stuck to the sensual, the basic, and the earthly, with an unbreakable fixation. I detect a gloomy patchouli, almost petreous, and an earthy, rusty sandalwood. I don’t detect papaya or cannabis, but rather a cypress myrrh, a resinous turpentine falling like drops of intoxicating sweat. The synthetic white musk is clear, thanks to its fixing properties. It has medium sillage and long-lasting endurance, ending on a rewarding woody tone. It’s an unknown gem from AZZARO, of great beauty and exultant personality, with an oriental charisma, far from the brand’s typical barbershop vibe. It’s so masculine it ends up being feminine, because in the communion of the sexes, it’s not the aromas that matter, but the pleasure they bring.

  I’ve already tried it and bought the bottle. It’s a citrus-fruity scent with a woody-resinous base. It opens with a realistic lemon mixed with green papaya—nothing sweet—which lasts about 15 minutes. The heart is intriguing: it says cannabis, but it doesn’t smell like fresh grass or lawn; it’s more complex, akin to hashish, resinous, and smoky, adding class rather than an unpleasant odour. It projects strongly and lasts 2–3 hours. The base is a less sharp cypress with a soft musk, keeping that cannabis nuance for another 3–4 hours. In my opinion, it’s already a collector’s item, almost discontinued, with an old-school yet modern vibe. The quality is niche; a designer rarity trophy to stand out. Top performance: 8–9 hours of longevity, heavy projection noticeable when passing by. Occasion: spring and autumn, day or night; in summer it’s too dense, and in winter it lacks sweetness. Unisex masculine because the cannabis note doesn’t evoke a specific gender. The only flaw is the small bottle size. Versatility: 5.5/10, Price: 6/10, Sillage: 8.5/10, Aroma: 10/10.
