Smells of earth, leather, and minerals. I don’t know why, but it reminds me much more of that great discontinued Básala by Shiseido, watery in character.
The opening doesn’t let me detect the bergamot, but I do sense that avian-touched habanaka, a fine rose, soft clove, and a delicious incense which is its strong note. I loved it. It projects for four hours and leaves a medium trail on the skin until the sixth hour.
What a pleasant surprise this Black Agent is. In my opinion, it’s as if V&R Spicebomb and Bvlgari Man in Black had a child. The opening reminded me of Man in Black straight away. In my case, it stands out a sensual, dark pink pepper thanks to the sweet incense and vetiver. Good projection for the first hour, then it stays discreet. For those 20-22 euros, it’s a very good option for autumn/winter or informal night outings.
Black Agent is a very pleasant surprise. To me, it’s like a child between Spicebomb and Man in Black. The opening confirmed this instantly. I sense a sensual, dark pink pepper due to the sweet incense and vetiver. It projects well for the first hour and then becomes more discreet. For the 20-22€ it costs, it’s a great option for autumn/winter or night outings.
A fragrance that leaves no one indifferent, very pleasant. The opening is dense, complex, and balanced, but soon reveals its true face: much softer and subtler. It’s a winter beauty, totally unisex, ideal for going out at night. The trail and longevity are good: present but not intrusive. Black Agent leaves an impression of more than acceptable quality and an obvious resemblance to Spicebomb. Good value for money.
Starts with a potent, boozy alcohol that reminded me of Bentley Intense, but then it evolves: here we find incense, violet liqueur, and an elegant touch blending musk, florals, and pepper. It’s a bargain, though it surpasses Drakkar Noir in richness and herbal notes. The projection is moderate, which is a plus as it doesn’t bother anyone. It resembles Spicebomb without the cinnamon, though it lacks its complexity, and calls to mind Bvlgari Man in Black, albeit without quite the same refinement. I wear it on the sides under my shirt, and if I sweat, it gently reactivates. Given the price and current reformulations, it’s an excellent option by default.
