  • It’s a top-tier fragrance with potent notes that make it stand out against the saturated style of brands like CH Prive or The One. At first, it feels dense, but the wood saves it, blending everything well; although it becomes a bit linear later, it’s not annoying. My girlfriend tried it alongside Spice Bomb, and while she liked both, she preferred this for being more masculine and less flashy. It smells delicious, and the wood is used very well. The longevity is good, it doesn’t project excessively, but the scent is noticeable. It doesn’t seem to resemble anything else from this era. If you want to stand out with something original, it’s worth it, although the price is high. I’d give it an 8, only because it doesn’t last as long as I’d like, but it’s exquisite.

It is a masculine scent, different from my taste for cool weather, but it is not tiring in tropical climates like in my country (Costa Rica). In my opinion, it is aimed at a male audience over 30 years old, without implying that a young person with a classic taste cannot use it and make a good impression. Noble and elegant woods are perceived. I sense a touch of incense (not indicated, but it gives me that impression) that adds a hypnotic personality. Longevity 7, Trail 5, Versatility 7, Projection 5.

Polo Supreme Oud has a resinous quality and a slightly sour sweetness alongside the guaiac wood and cinnamon that make it interesting. Enjoy the scent free from classic rose and oud; this could be like a more elegant and spicy Million Privé, type YSL M7.

At first, I detect pink pepper, cinnamon, a bit of oud, and a sweet citrus (perhaps mandarin). In this opening, I felt a faint impression of YSL M7 at the start, but it didn’t last. At 4 hours: oud, vetiver, and woods. At 8 hours: a diffuse sensation of woods (I cannot clearly isolate the guaiac). At 12 hours: residual vetiver and guaiac. The scent is quite nice, with soft and elegant woods, but none of this compensates (at least for me) for its terrible performance in trail and longevity. The initial trail was moderate, even with over-application, and by 4 hours it was already weak. I perceived the scent close to the skin after 12 hours, but with great effort; I would say the wear time goes up to about 6 hours. If you need a fairly shy oud that serves for almost all seasons, this might be useful. If you require more trail or longevity, go elsewhere. Perhaps it serves for a first date, where you want to stand out yourself rather than the fragrance.

At first, I notice pink pepper, cinnamon, a touch of oud, and a sweet citrus (perhaps mandarin). I felt a faint echo of YSL M7 at the beginning, but it didn’t last long. After four hours, it’s oud, vetiver, and woods. After eight hours, a diffuse halo of woods (I can’t quite isolate the guaiac). After twelve hours, only vetiver and guaiac remain. The scent is lovely, with soft and elegant woods, but it doesn’t compensate for its poor performance in trail and longevity. The initial trail was moderate even with a generous application, and by four hours it was already weak. I can barely hear it on the skin after twelve hours with effort, so I’d say it lasts about six hours. If you’re looking for a subtle oud suitable for all seasons, this will do. If you need more projection or longevity, look elsewhere. Perhaps for a first date, where you want to highlight yourself rather than the perfume.

  • What a pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect a designer to create an oud like this, especially being Polo RL. I have tried Versace Oud and Bottled Oud; although they are not bad, they feel artificial and somewhat neglectful of the original fragrance. This Polo is original and unique, not dependent on other flankers or even the Supreme family. It is a westernised oriental, easy to wear because the oud is not medicinal, yet it still smells of oud, woods, and vetiver. I suppose when they stop selling it, it will appreciate considerably, so I plan to buy it as soon as possible. 9/10.

  • A very woody oud, nothing like the typical oud-rose combo or the medicinal ouds that abound. This one is potent, virile, and masculine, taking a different line from what we are used to in Polo. The trail is decent and goes hand in hand with Red Extreme. Longevity of about 8 hours. Perfect for winter and autumn nights.

  • A very woody oud, nothing like the typical oud-rose combo or the medicinal ouds common in the West. It’s a powerful, virile, and masculine woody fragrance that breaks with the usual Polo formula. Its trail is decent, matching Red Extreme. It lasts about eight hours. Ideal for winter and autumn nights.

  • I don’t have many perfumes from this house, except for two generous samples of Polo Green Old, Polo Extreme, and a bottle of Red Extreme and the legendary Safari. I would like to add something more to my collection and I appreciate the kindness of Sejano 77 for letting me try this proposal. It is a pleasant, different, and slightly bitter version of oud, but the word ‘Supreme’ is overkill here. Don’t expect punchiness; it is a spicy and fairly smoky scent, with a base of woods and vetiver that gives a respectable result. Even though the trail on my skin is not very expansive, I liked it aromatically (the dry-down is excellent), just like its brother Leather. The problem is that for half the price or less, you can find oriental proposals that double the power and longevity. It’s worth trying to decide.

  • It’s a westernised oud of very good quality. It’s refreshing that it’s simply woody rather than the familiar clichés. It works brilliantly in cool climates and has normal performance; it could be better for an eau de parfum, but overall it’s very pleasant and easy to wear.

  • Like 90% of perfumes from this house… quite average, almost mediocre. Just another addition to the pile, with ‘OUD’ printed on the bottle. Warm and cinnamon-scented, much like the two hundred others on the market. The same goes for Supreme Leather and Cashmere. I won’t discuss performance because it is simply RALPH LAURIAN (moderate, but leaning towards poor). A disappointment; I expected much from these special editions.

  • Like 90% of the things from this house… fairly regular to mediocre, another one of the crowd with just OUD on the label. Warm and cinnamon-scented, like hundreds of others. The same goes for Supreme Leather and Cashmere. I won’t comment on performance because it’s very Ralph Lauren-esque (moderate, rather poor). A disappointment; I had high hopes for these special editions.

  • Finally, I have it in my hands. If you’ve never tried oud before, brace yourself: it’s pleasant. The oud and cinnamon are clear, with a touch of prune paste and cognac. Without a doubt, this is a winter fragrance. I liked it, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly if you don’t know what you’re getting; it has a lot of character.
