I stumbled across this trinket at the Primor door, in that discount cabinet with the Antonio Banderas, Spagnolo and other bottles that seem worthless. This bauble, costing just £9, caught me by surprise. It smells very similar to Dior Sauvage (the top and heart notes are identical) and when it dries down, it stays vibrant thanks to the vetiver with a hint of ambroxan (undeclared but present). The base reminds me of Encre Noire due to the vetiver, but with an aromatic nod and a touch of ambergris à la Sauvage. Nothing new, but it smells phenomenal for just four quid.
Smells top-notch; it reminds me a bit of Bogart Story Red, but beware: the atomiser is a disaster, it sputters instead of spraying. For the price, the perfume deserves an 8.
