It is an Acqua Di Sale but with far superior quality and body, thanks to the herbal notes.
It’s an Acqua di Sale but of much higher quality and with more body due to the herbal notes.
It is a salty scent. But not therefore similar to Acqua di Sale or Megamare. In my opinion, it goes a step further even than Megamare. If Megamare smells of salt with marine vegetable oligoelements (and some synthetics), Black Caviar is salt with marine animal oligoelements (nothing rotten) mixed with Oud, cedar, and herbal notes, especially lavender and sage. Those oligoelements are not main ones; they only support the rest of the notes to provide that animalic salt sensation. I recommend testing it well on skin and not forming an idea with just 1 spray. It is an elegant, luxurious, classy, and mature scent. It requires dressing well. 3 sprays – 2 hours of constant projection. No isolated bursts. Good trail and total longevity of 9 hours.
Quite similar to Acqua di Sale, a bit darker and more complex, with inferior performance. It’s not a scent for everyone.
Elegant without being dark. Fresh without being a lemonade. Balanced without being boring. A little-known delight. For me, a fragrance of the niche within the niche. It’s on my list of next purchases.
I find it to be in the style of Atlante by Sarah Baker; it comes out with something marine and salty, strong on the first spray.
I notice this house repeats itself quite often, almost as if by chance. There is a decent resemblance to Profumum Roma’s Acqua Di Sale, but with a vibrant opening that smells of spices, like pepper or cumin, before revealing the notes. Once that initial phase passes, it leaves a earthy trail, reminiscent of Mediterranean coastlines and mountains. It feels less summery than the Roma version and more masculine. The downside is that the performance leaves much to be desired; it’s not bad, but for a niche fragrance, I expect more projection and sillage, along with greater originality.
Well, I’m noticing in this house similarities with many perfumes that are starting to stop being a coincidence. In this one, I find a reasonable resemblance to Acqua Di Sale by Profumum Roma. The main difference is a vibrant opening that seems spiced; I would have said pepper or cumin before seeing the listed notes here. Also, after a while, once that vibrant opening has faded, there remains a earthy trail, like Mediterranean coastal land, of the mountains. So, here we have something less summery than the aforementioned Acqua Di Sale, even more masculine. Unfortunately, in terms of performance, it leaves much to be desired compared to Profumum Roma. It’s not bad, but for a perfume that aims to be niche, I demand more projection and trail. I would also demand more originality than it has.
By no means is this a scent for me. It feels marine, salty, and aquatic… yet lacks any of those notes, though honestly, I don’t know what caviar is supposed to smell like. It is a very masculine and dark, strident scent; if you get too close, you have to turn your head away because it invades your brain. As for longevity, it is nuclear. For testing, I always apply it to my arm and then go to bed; if it still smells in the morning after nine hours of sleep, the test is passed. Few achieve this, but this one does. However, I must insist, I simply dislike it.
By no means an aroma to my taste. Sorry, marine, salty, aquatic… without having any of these notes. A very masculine and dark scent, shrill; if you bring your nose too close, you have to pull your face away because it goes right into your brain. As for its longevity, it’s nuclear. I always test the longevity of a perfume by putting it on my arm and going to bed. If it still smells in the morning, after 9 hours of sleep: test passed. Few do this. This is one of them. But I insist, to me it’s a scent I dislike.
Nothing like what I expected; unfortunately, it just smells of cinnamon, which is one of the two notes I hate along with honey. Projection and longevity are terrible. I love this brand, but this is a total letdown.
