  I bought it expecting that fruity bubblegum scent, but it was a right fiasco: at first it smells like childish toothpaste, then all that’s left is the clove, which reeks of anaesthetic, nothing more.

  I bought this expecting a fruity bubblegum and was disappointed: it only smells like children’s toothpaste at first, then there’s the clove scent, which is very similar to anaesthetic.

  At first it smells like machine bubblegum, those coloured balls you get with a coin, then it turns into children’s toothpaste and finally into clove oil, which was the only thing I didn’t like, but the initial bubblegum scent was lovely. It’s more like machine bubblegum or children’s toothpaste than the Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum, which smells more like those pink rolls.

  Horrible at first, it smells like bubblegum, and then excuse me, it’s not a clove smell, it’s a disinfectant smell, horrible. How can anyone create a fragrance like this? What a disappointment, I’m even embarrassed to give it away. Edit: after a few weeks, I notice the bubblegum scent more and the horrible clove smell less. I’m going to give it a chance.

  At first it’s dreadful, smelling of bubblegum and then, forgive me, it’s not clove, it’s disinfectant. What a disappointment, I’m even embarrassed to give it away. Edit: after a few weeks I notice more of the bubblegum and less of that clove smell, so I’ll give it another go.

  It’s delicious but it doesn’t last. Even reapplying it leaves no trail, but if you want to look playful and fun, this is a total hit.

  How can it last half an hour? I put it on over three hours ago and the hyper-realistic Boomer bubblegum scent is still there. A very well-crafted fragrance; you can detect some underlying complexity from the clove or orange, but don’t go crazy: it’s proper old-school bubblegum with a hint of children’s toothpaste, probably from the mint. If you like smelling like a 1998 bubblegum, this is your perfume.
