About Bulma
Bulma by Pisello Parfum: a contemporary vanilla oriental for all
Pisello Parfum has unveiled Bulma, a new unise x scent belonging to the Oriental Vanilla olfatory family. Lancing in 2026, it was composed by perfumer Manuel Alejandro Bojorquez Segovia.
With a sweet, woody, musky and tropical temperament, Bulma plays on contrasts: juicy fruit, warm spice, and a soft, dry-down base. It feels like a modern oriental with an indulgent, yet refined, personality.
At the very start, Bulma bursts with tropical notes, pink pepper, hibiscus, Hedione, cognac, lychee and pear. Lychee and pear deliver a luminous fruity opening, while pink pepper and hibiscus add a floral spiciness. The thread of cognac gives warmth and signas the sweeter heart that follows.
The heart is dominated by vanilla in many forms – Madagascar vanilla, vanilla absolute and classic vanilla – alongside caramellised almonds, floral notes, cinnamon, praline and oak. This is the most comforting phase of the perfume: creamy, softly spiced, and never too sugary.
At the base, Iso E Super, sandalwood, tonka bean, white musk and Amb roxan create a woody, slightly powdery and musky foundation. It prolongs the sillage and wraps the entire composition in a warm, discreetly sensual haze. The tonka bean and Amb roxan are especially noticeable in the late dry-down.
As a whole, Bulma feels like an Oriental Vanilla with woody, sweet, musky, floral, fruity, amber, warm spicy, fresh and tropical facets. It can be worn by day or by night, and comes into its own in cooler seasons or whenever you want a comforting, noticeable presence.
Early feedback gives Bulma an average score of 3.0 out of5, albeit from only two ratings so far. Definitive conclusions are hard to draw at this stage, but this release from Pisello Parfum is clearly a thoughtful, contemporary contribution to the gourmand oriental category.
Ideal for anyone who enjoys unise x perfumes with a sweet, warm and woody character. It is particularly suited to fans of vanilla, praline, cinnamon and sandalwood, as well as those looking for an oriental fragrance that feels modern rather than retro.
Bulma is a confident, ambitious fragrance, pairing the richeness of a classic oriental with a cleaner, contemporary structure. The interlay between sweetness, wood and freshness makes it an appealing option for men and women who want a perfume with presence and personality.
