Like the ‘older sister’ of the original Burberry Her, it keeps that DNA where I detect strawberry even though it’s not declared, but the cherry is very noticeable. It’s an amber-fruity scent, lovely and flirty. The vanilla comes through in the dry-down, very subtle, and gives it a touch I like. It differs greatly from last year’s Her Elixir, which is fresher. I’ve liked it quite a bit, although it’s not one of my favourites. It lasts about four or five hours with moderate projection.
👎🏿: A terrible, synthetic whiff. Very unpleasant; after an hour it stabilises slightly and smells like powdery strawberry, but it still feels artificial. Let’s stop hallucinating cherries that aren’t there. Yes, it projects too much. The best of this edition so far is undoubtedly the Burberry Her Elixir de Parfum from 2022.
Cherries with cream 🍒🍦: Intense and rich; that creaminess is the best part. The dry-down has a strange touch of patchouli and flowers, and being picky, I don’t detect any strawberry. Otherwise, it smells very nice and sweet. Although the first one is my favourite, I wouldn’t rule out buying this one someday. Very delicious! 🤤
