It was composed by perfumer Ayşe Sirkecioğlu, who blends shadowy woody notes with vivid fruit and a smooth, comforting base.
At the very top, Caïpra Oud opens with oud wood, passion fruit, grapefruit and raspberry. That combination is quite striking: the resinous oud is immediately softened by juicy, tart fruit.
The heart moves into a more delicate register with patchouli, white flowers, sandalwood, green tea and rose. It's here that the fragrance shows a floral, slightly powdery side.
At the base, suede, vanilla, amber and musk take over. These materials give the scent a creamy, warm character, with the suede adding a subtle textural feel.
