  It is a serious fragrance, more for personal taste than to attract attention. It resembles Allure Homme a little, but it is different: discreet, soft, and nothing invasive. I bought it years ago in Monterrey when I was 24. I noticed nothing citrusy; it is more woody with an amber base. It goes perfectly for autumn and winter; in the heat, it disappears. I did not buy it again because the traditional Carlo Corinto version is the best. This Noir has moderate performance, little sillage, and is not noticeable, but it is not bad, just simple. Perhaps I will buy it one day out of nostalgia.

  Contradictory attitude: I wore this in 2008 or 2009, pairing it with Carlo Cool. At first, it just said ‘Carlo’. The bottle screams intensity and rebellion, but upon application, you realise it is sweeter and more aromatic than dry. The fruits and cloves make an interesting combo with the classic lavender (I even sensed an undeclared hint of anise), very enveloping. As it dries down, the amber gives it that punch of strength and a talc-like effect. The fixative is good; if you wear it too close, it overwhelms, but within minutes it settles and becomes discreet. Ideal for young people aged 20 to 35, better for night or cool days. Sprays: 5 to 7. Fixative: 8. Sillage and strength: moderate.
