Launched in 2019, this composition features an olfactive pyramid that begins with top notes of red currant, floral notes, and Bulgarian rose. Highly rated by everyone, but for me it’s a disaster. Extremely fruity, extremely sweet, cloying. They say it’s for spring-summer, but in summer I’d die wearing this. It’s aimed at those who love sugar in full force. On my skin it doesn’t evolve into floral or powdery; it stays linear; it’s potent at first and then softens a little. It just doesn’t suit me; don’t gift it to me, I can’t handle it.
Highly rated by everyone, but for me it’s a disaster. Extremely fruity, extremely sweet, cloying. They say it’s for spring-summer, but I’d die in summer wearing this. It’s aimed at those who love sugar to the brim. On my skin it doesn’t evolve into floral or powdery notes; it stays linear; it’s potent at first and then softens a little. It just doesn’t suit me, don’t gift it to me, I can’t handle it.
Delicious! I have a decant from the Marly Discovery Kit I bought on the official website and it lasts forever because it’s so strong that two sprays are enough, or it’ll overwhelm you. To me it smells very much of peach and I detect a hint of yoghurt, a milky touch. It fascinates as much as Delina.
Delicious!!! I have a decant from the Parfums de Marly Discovery kit I bought on the official website, and it lasts forever because it is so strong that two sprays are enough, or it will overwhelm you. It smells very much of peach to me, and I also detect a hint of yoghurt scent, I don’t know, it has a milky note. It fascinates me just as much as Delina.
A delicious nectarine!!! (it’s not listed in the notes, but it clearly smells like that to me). A very pleasant fruity-floral scent with a vanilla touch, ideal for those who like sweet fragrances. Unfortunately, from my discovery kit of this house, this is another one that doesn’t work on my skin: after a couple of hours, it fades away. I think it could be used daily in any season. I don’t think I’ll buy it because its poor performance leaves a bad quality-price ratio, and besides, it is quite a common composition in perfumery, from celebrity to niche brands; in fact, while testing it right now alongside Paris Hilton Bling Edition, I find them quite similar.
My aunt ordered a Discovery Set from the Parfums de Marly website and didn’t like it at all; she found it synthetic, so I kept it. Cassili opens with a fresh, slightly acidic note. The blend gives a peachy scent. It is tropical and fruity yet creamy and soft. The floral aspect is very well balanced, and I don’t perceive any standout note. I don’t see it as sexy as Delina Exclusif, nor elegant as Delina. Cassili is light, the sweet and demure sister to them. I don’t like the Delinas because I can’t tolerate rose, whereas Cassili might appeal to me; I detect the floral bouquet but the fruity combo is also present, and together they create a lovely aroma. It is a youthful, carefree, delicate, feminine, luminous and happy scent. There are many floral-fruity fragrances, so I don’t see it as particularly unique or different, but it has something special. The longevity is moderate, around 3 hours, with very low sillage. I wouldn’t buy it because it isn’t my sweet style and the performance is poor for such an expensive perfume, but I will use this decant this spring as it is pleasant.
I didn’t like it at all. The fragrance is super generic and synthetic, reminiscent of a St. Ives cream I used throughout my teenage years (and since my family bought it, I never liked the smell). I can’t distinguish any particular notes, just that fake scent.
I didn’t like it at all. The scent is super generic and synthetic; it smells like a St. Ives cream I used almost throughout my adolescence (and because my parents bought it, the smell never appealed to me). I can’t distinguish any particular note, just that false smell.
I find it pleasant, relaxing and comforting. I especially like applying it to my pillow; I love the scent when I go to sleep.
Have you tried Givenchy’s Play? Well, it’s identical. If we look at the notes, they don’t match, but I’m sure Cassili carries peach and that fruit is what stands out most in Play; they also share similar tropical character flowers and in the dry-down, one has vanilla and the other benzoin. Both perfumes are wonderful, but I stick with Givenchy’s as it brings me such good memories (including its sibling Intense). Don’t let the opening of Cassili fool you; it seems artificial but give it time and you’ll fall in love.
It’s very delicate and youthful. The peach yoghurt opening is somewhat synthetic and when I tested it in fresh weather, it didn’t impress me at all; I wondered where the frangipani was, which was why I wanted it. Well, now that it’s warmer, it feels exquisite, projects well and lasts a long time; I can smell that mix of frangipani and mimosa with all the creaminess of sandalwood and vanilla. Definitely appropriate for spring and summer.
It’s nothing new or impressive; I agree with other reviews: it has that unpleasant synthetic touch for my taste. When I bought it, I gave it to my daughter immediately for an obvious reason: it smells huge like Givenchy’s Irresistible, one of her favourites. It’s a youthful, cheerful, delicate, feminine, luminous and sparkling scent. It’s not unique or different, but it’s delicious and the dry-down is enchanting and earns compliments. There’s not much to say; it’s a floral-fruity blend where peach (unlisted) stands out. The flowers work together; I don’t feel one more than another. This fusion is wrapped in a creaminess of vanilla and sandalwood. The performance isn’t great on my skin for an expensive perfume: about six hours with medium-low projection and trail.
To start, I don’t find any resemblance to Givenchy’s Irresistible. I should clarify that the opening is quite artificial and I don’t like it as much as the dry-down, but that’s only for the first five minutes. Ultimately, I love this perfume; I’d never smelled anything like it before. Although it lacks the classic potency of a Delina or Baccarat, it’s not ultra-original and I don’t associate it with anything else. I find it very comfortable; I can wear it all day. It brings me happiness; it is truly rich 🤍.
First, I don’t detect any resemblance to Givenchy’s Irresistible. Second, I must clarify that the opening is quite artificial and I don’t like it as much as the dry-down, but only for the first five minutes. Finally, I absolutely love this perfume; I had never smelled anything like it before. Although it lacks the classic potency of Delina, Baccarat, or famous niche scents, it isn’t ultra-original yet I don’t associate it with anything else. I find it very comfortable and can wear it all day. It brings me happiness; it’s simply delicious.
Not bad, it’s a delight! My favourite after Delina Exclusif. Sweet and fruity yet subtle. I adore the balance from this house. People say it smells like Irresistible, but there’s no comparison: this is far more delicate and pleasant, not a synthetic fruit bomb. It’s a subtle awakening, a real charm, super silky and creamy with quality. I can’t stop smelling it. I’d love to try it on skin, though I tested it dry.
NOT GOOD, IT’S A DELIGHT! My favourite after Delina Exclusif. Sweet and fruity but subtle. I love the balance; they say it smells like Irresistible, but it’s nothing like it, it’s much more delicate and pleasant, not a synthetic fruit bomb. A subtle touch of peach, a real charm, super silky and creamy, with quality. I can’t stop smelling it. I’d love to try it on skin, I tested it dry.
Just as I said Oriana is overrated, I say this fragrance is exquisite. After the expectation vs reality blow with Oriana, I arrived at this without expecting anything and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a particular scent, a delight. Soft, fine, creamy flowers, with a fruit cocktail where I’m sure peach appears even though it’s not declared. It feels so good to wear. The mimosa with the peach (for me it is) and the avoindry base… delight! It has very good longevity (more than 6h on skin). The sillage is medium, feels a bit more than your body. It’s very pleasant, I feel like a creamy fruit dessert, absolutely delicious.
As I said, Oriana is overrated; this fragrance is exquisite. After the harsh reality check Oriana gave me, I arrived here expecting nothing and was pleasantly surprised. It’s such a particular scent I can only call it a delight. Soft, fine, creamy florals with a fruit cocktail where I’m sure there’s peach, even if it’s not declared. It feels great: mimosa with peach and a vanilla base… a delight! Longevity is very good (over 6 hours). The trail is moderate, noticeable but not overpowering. Very pleasant, I feel like a creamy fruit dessert, absolutely delicious.
I can’t justify the purchase because it smells almost exactly like Givenchy’s Irresistible.
Another Rococo painting with a very quiet tropical explosion in the background; it lacks the power and originality of Valaya or Oriana. Cassili is more like the older sister of Meliora. They share the same vibration running through the collection: canvases in sage green and faded salmon, dolls, sweets, vintage roses in a trimmed hedge, silky hair with a ribbon, and fruit smoothies in faceted glasses. And I could go on: Cassili suggests longing, cold springs and warm autumns, it’s dense and light, a little dollop of stirred mascarpone like turbulence over a butter cookie, thanks to that tonka bean. A tender thing, with a transparent, pink melancholy. And yet, it’s not my favourite.
So here was all the art that was missing from Oriana ‘performing’. Good longevity, acceptable sillage, but the scent leaves me a bit indifferent. Simply pleasant. You will smell good and it has the advantage that, although it resembles many mall perfumes, Cassili doesn’t have that ‘perfume’ vibe; it’s much more subtle and elegant than any Lancôme, Armani or Valentino. It has a certain Narciso Rodríguez air thanks to the powerful musk cloud. The creamy tropical frangipani and plum are also there. I imagine perceiving peach has to do with the nose being suggested by the bottle’s colour. A pretty perfume, absolutely ridiculous price, but at least it doesn’t abandon you after half an hour like that joke called Oriana.
I was going to order it blindly, torn between Meliora and Cassili, and luckily I ended up choosing Meliora. When I tried Cassili at El Corte Inglés twice, I threw the paper away immediately: the opening seemed super artificial. I didn’t want to wait for it to settle because that synthetic smell gave me a migraine. But as I always say, it’s a matter of taste.
I was going to order it blind, I was between Meliora and Cassili and it’s a good thing I ended up choosing Meliora. When I tried Cassili at El Corte Inglés twice, I threw the tissue immediately. The opening seemed super artificial, I didn’t even have time for it to settle because that synthetic and bad smell gave me a migraine. But as I always say, tastes vary.
It’s nice, but reminded me of Body Shop body cream fragrances, specifically the peach one which smells very similar to Cassili. I don’t dislike it, but it’s not innovative; you can find it elsewhere.
Although not as niche in scent, it certainly is in quality. As others have said, the fruity part for me is a sweet, silky peach, undeclared but evident. To me it doesn’t smell synthetic and for almost its entire evolution it has a character reminiscent of fruit smoothies, although not lactonic. It mixes with tropical florals, musk and sandalwood, giving an exquisite result. I see it as versatile and ultra-feminine, ideal for spring-summer but wearable all year. Without being groundbreaking, it’s a special perfume. On my skin it lasts about 8 hours with moderate but wide projection and sillage at the start. Delighted to have it.
The first Marly I tried was Delina; I liked it… different, classic, feminine, and elegant. Then I tried Delina Exclusif and I was blown away! I adored it; it’s my favourite Marly. In second place comes Cassili: a feminine scent with a hint of peach sweetness that I know isn’t in the notes but is definitely felt. It’s elegant, opulent, striking… different from other perfumes. It lasts an incredibly long time on my skin. I must order another large decant of this marvel.

Hello! First review here. I love strong, sweet rose perfumes. My first Marly was Delina Exclusif, a rose bomb, super sweet and long-lasting. Then came Valaya Exclusif… impossible to explain what it does to me. I bought both blind, just like Cassili. It arrived today and, to be honest, it’s nothing special… very soft, skin scent from the start, zero sillage and projection. I expected more given the price and my experiences with the other two Marlys. I wouldn’t buy it again.
Top quality, but smells like a teenager’s peach or cherry blossom shampoo. Worn well, yes, but it still reeks of shampoo.
