From Parizino 贝丽丝, Chewing 寻味 is a women’s fruity chypre built around peach, freesia and a warm base of vanilla, amber and musk.
Floral, fruity and woody elements are kept smooth and powdery, with iris lending a talc-like softness beside a tender rose. The sweetness feels carefully judged rather than rich.
Peach, freesia and southernwood form the opening. The peach note supplies succulent sweetness, freesia brings airy floral light, and southernwood adds a green, herbal edge for lift.
At the centre, rose, iris and sandalwood take over. Rose provides the most affectionate floral touch, iris delivers the powdery character highlighted in the accords, and sandalwood gives a creamy wooden link.
