The opening favours bright bergamot and sea salt with a flicker of fresh spice, leading towards a vegetal marine heart and a restrained drydown of wood and grey amber.
Bergamot, ginger and sea salt shape the top. The bergamot feels clean and uplifting, the ginger brings lively freshness rather than warmth, and the salt establishes the seaside character from the outset.
In the middle, seaweed lends a green, iodine-like quality that gives the marine accord texture and a natural, coastal feel.
Vetiver contributes an earthy, tailored greenness, while lily of the valley adds a soft white floral note. Rather than sweetening, it lifts and clarifies the surrounding greens.
Grey amber and cedar form the base. The amber prolongs the saline impression with mineral warmth, whilst the cedar provides a dry, neat woody anchor.
