Hello @sensei_xv. My bottle is from August 2024. At first, I felt disappointed, as I mentioned in another review. A year ago I bought a decant (unknown batch, probably 2022) that was nuclear. When I opened the new one, I didn’t notice that potency. However, I sprayed it ten times and let it oxygenate (macerate) for a couple of months. The truth is, it worked. Now it’s much more potent. And watch, as I use up the bottle, I notice even more potency. The same happened with famous fragrances known for not lasting long, such as Cool Water or Bleu Chanel EDP. Let’s hope your batch’s performance improves. Regards!!

  • A classy clone. It’s impossible to discuss Urban Elixir without mentioning its inspiration: Dior Sauvage. Although I’m not a fan of bitter notes, this fragrance works wonderfully with those touches. Despite its copied DNA, it has its own quality and defined character. What stands out most are the bitter citrus combined with an earthy base that makes it unmistakably masculine. It’s perceived with class without being invasive. It projects confidence without shouting. It’s hyper-versatile: daily wear, office, or events. Although it adapts to everything, I don’t see it for teenagers; it demands a bit more maturity and elegance. Given its quality, versatility, and elegant touch, it has great value. My rating: 7.5/10.

  • Antonio Tavera

Smells good. If it resembles Sauvage, I cannot deny it has very good quality for the price; it doesn’t smell like cheap ‘Arabic’ perfume. The issue is longevity: it lasts a maximum of 1–2 hours. I’ll leave it for a couple of months; perhaps it will improve. 6/10.

  • What a fantastic perfume. My batch is from 2024. They say it fills rooms, but mine does not at least. At first, it hardly smelled anything; it’s improving with the days. It doesn’t last 12 hours either; what batch do you have that lasts so long? It’s advisable to let it macerate for a few days. In my opinion, it’s only noticeable on the opening; afterwards, it’s all Sauvage. It releases bursts non-stop. I think it will become my signature scent. Edit: After two months, I confirm it’s not the black beast they claim, at least the latest batches. One hour of projection and six on skin. Not bad, but I expected more.

  • Aventus opening, Sauvage dry down. Excellent longevity and projection. Smells very well; no need to explain further.

  • A delight. An incredible aroma that conveys elegance and freshness simultaneously, ideal for any moment. Longevity and projection are perfect, surpassing many ‘beast mode’ perfumes. The first time I applied 10–12 sprays and it was very strong, but reducing the amount revealed an exquisite fragrance. Day one: two compliments. First week: six. Third week: sixteen (yes, I started counting). 9.5/10.

  • It seems I and many others share the same problem… it doesn’t last or project. It smells delicious, but after two hours, I can’t detect it. They say one must be careful with the sprays as it’s a bomb; I need six or seven to feel it properly, not four. My batch is from February 2025, relatively new. I’ve read that it needs to macerate for weeks or months to reach its peak. Today is 10 October 2025; I’ll let it macerate and let you know how it goes.

Breaking it down: Is it new? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely. At 25–35 euros, it’s a blend of Aventus and Sauvage EDT, minus the chemical citrus that burns the nose found in Cdim. It’s all-rounder, suitable for any occasion. Longevity is good and the projection is extremely high at first. I might be biased as a Sauvage fan, but it’s a safe buy, especially given the price. Crucially: let it macerate for at least three months; initially, the notes are weak.

  • Vicfragance

Works brilliantly on clothes and lasts for days, but on my skin it causes olfactory fatigue almost immediately, perhaps due to an ingredient. I’ve read many critics question its longevity, so the quality might be the issue. My batch is from March 2023; it has had plenty of time to mature yet remains unchanged.

  • I don’t understand the hype surrounding this fragrance; I simply can’t find the charm. It’s pleasant, but nothing more for me; I believe the original is superior in several aspects. Overall, it’s a good blind buy.

  • I wouldn’t say it’s a DS-EDT, nor even a CDN, because the little similarity it has with its cousin, Black Beast, disappears very quickly. Honestly I was captivated at first, especially the pink pepper note very well achieved for an Arabic. Then, after maceration or changing my nose, that rich note disappeared and I don’t like it much anymore. Longevity and projection incredible, typical of Armaf. The aroma is captivating, I see it more for cold and night. But it’s much more bearable than Black Beast.

  • Speaking as someone who only likes perfume and isn’t an expert: I bought this in 2025 blind. I’d heard it resembled Dior Sauvage and yes, in the opening it’s identical, perhaps a bit more piercing but very little. Then that bergamot disappears and basically smells of ambroxan, lavender and amber; here the amber or that warm touch feels more present than in Dior and I don’t dislike it. The longevity is a beast: on my skin it lasts more than twelve hours and on clothes for days. Projection very good, it’s a beast for the first 3 hours and then stays moderate for another 4 hours, already skin scent. No need to talk about its price. A few comments: it gives olfactory fatigue and for some noses the opening can smell like Raid, something I’ve been told. They say it resembles Aventus but it’s not a fragrance that has that and I haven’t smelled it either, so I can’t opine. Longevity 9/10, Projection 8.5/10, Price 10/10.

  • Average person, personal taste more citrusy and ambered, more sparkling than Black Beast, less smoky to my taste. It has its weight, where you go you leave a trail. For the price it’s excellent, especially on good pH, lasts 6 to 10 hours. For me it’s 10/10.

  • valencaminos

This has been my signature for several months. It’s incredible how versatile it is; you’re showered with compliments in all seasons, night or day, in a cold winter or a stifling summer. Watch out, it’s 100% masculine, without doubt, and with a more serious focus than Intense Man. I perceive a dominant citrus opening with herbs that give freshness and balance (it’s not strident like Intense Man), and an amber that gives body and density, a just weight so it’s not heavy nor light. In dry-down, the citrus loosens and lavender predominates more. At least that’s what I perceive, I’m not an expert but I have a seasoned nose. The performance is a strong point: lasts at least 8 hours on skin and projects powerfully for 2 hours (invades a small/medium room). Perhaps it’s not the most popular Armaf because of how masculine and serious it is.

  • If you came here looking for an opinion to buy, here it is, brother, it’s the definitive one. If you’re looking for something like Sauvage but you can’t afford it now, there isn’t another. Do yourself a favour and don’t postpone this sensory masterpiece that gives incredibly compliments any more. A man’s perfume that knows what it wants; before arriving imposing presence, the aroma arrived, and not only arrived, it arrived to stay and make you unforgettable. I won’t drag on, I just say buy it, you’ll send them to therapy, brother.

  • First Arabic perfume I bought and it didn’t disappoint me at all. Its fixative and longevity are brutal. I wear it in spring/summer, daily at the office or going out, and it doesn’t go unnoticed; I’ve received many compliments. Elegant and masculine aroma. Without being an expert, I find it very similar to Dior Sauvage. Highly recommended!

  • samuelnavarro1608

I tested it on a test strip in front of me; the opening is similar to Intense Man, but this one smells better. It fades quickly, about 10 minutes, and then a Sauvage-like aroma emerges. In dry-down, you have to be very close to distinguish Urban Elixir from Sauvage. I bought it and I’m not sure if it’s a new batch or needs more maceration; the citrus/amber scent is constant, it seems like Sauvage wants to come out but clashes with a slightly unpleasant opening. Has anyone experienced this? I’d love to know your opinion. PSDT: Longevity and projection, nothing to complain about, very good.

  • Samuel, it happened to me too. I loved it more in the perfumerie than when I first took it out of the box. Perhaps it’s due to oxidation, but it disappointed me and I sold it.

  • This perfume won me over with time. Upon opening, the opening didn’t please me much as it was too strong for the nose. I wondered if it was worth it one day and applied it the next. I wrinkled my nose seeing that force persist, but after a while I was surprised by how fresh it is and the resinous quality of the ambroxan. I continued applying two sprays a day and liked it more each time. The scents settled, the perfume stabilised with the air, and now I wear it every day. Its similarity to Sauvage is almost imperceptible if you don’t think about it. I put it on and feel an aromatic, warm yet fresh scent. My girlfriend loves it. It’s for intense heat, temperate climates, day or night, for any occasion. It’s exquisite; after a while I fell in love discovering its facets. In dry-down it’s spectacular and the longevity is brutal. It projects for about two hours and decays slowly until six. It’s excellent for under forty dollars. I was pleasantly surprised by persisting. I recommend it totally.

  • Andrés Maetxa

Smells very good; suitable for any occasion. It’s a powerful fragrance that earns compliments; people ask about it often; it has its own charisma. The downside, and this is something that really annoys me about this fragrance… how synthetic it feels in the opening. In the base, I detect exactly the same smell as the ‘Cabbage’ brand ‘pimpollos’ dolls, which were popular in the 90s; look, it’s certainly a pleasant smell because it’s creamy, but at a certain point it becomes annoying and artificial. When I bought it, I pulled the trigger hard; I wore quite a bit of it and abused its potency. I still use it, but that detail holds back my impulses. Scent: 6.6, Projection/Sillage: 8.2, Longevity: 7.8. Final Rating: 7/10 ***75.3% perfection***.

  • Davidhuztla

An essential fragrance in the collection; it’s brilliant!! It’s like the Intense, but instead of citrus, it’s sweeter.

  • Smells very good; it’s a sweet-drying Sauvage with excellent longevity and projection (+8 hours).

  • Loved by some and hated by others, Dior’s Sauvage has been (and remains) a major reference in perfumery since its launch. Here we have a sweeter version, with more nuances and performance metrics that are terrifying (in the best possible sense). When I first tried it after reading so many positive reviews, I was a bit scared it wouldn’t meet expectations… Well, not only did it meet them, it far exceeded them: incredible longevity, extreme projection, and a scent very similar to the aforementioned Sauvage, but with its own sweeter, fruitier touch. It’s not a clone of Ambre comme les Ambassadeurs as they say, not even close. Nor do I think it’s a mix of Sauvage and Aventus; simply, it has something in the opening that, with incredible imagination, might remind you of a tiny part of the Aventus opening, but nothing more. I’d say fragrances like this are for any occasion and offend no one, but be careful with the number of sprays because it’s an absolute beast. For those who say it doesn’t last or project, I have one of the latest batches and had to let it macerate for two or three weeks until it became the monster it is today (and it wasn’t that it lasted and projected little precisely at the start). To this day, it’s one of the few perfumes, if not the only one, that with a hand on my heart I can say offers FAR more than I expected after all the hype given to it on the internet.

  • Coni Macarena Miel

Too sweet for my taste, but it’s not a bad fragrance; rather, I actually see a hint of unisex in it, which doesn’t suit me… I think there are better options. Was it perhaps too much hype? They said it was much better than the hated and loved Club de Nuit Intense, but I think they go in totally different directions. This is a more youthful fragrance, while the other is more masculine. It’s true the opening is too strong, but it settles wonderfully (Club de Nuit Intense), whereas this Urban Elixir falls short in the dry-down. As for how it resembles Sauvage, well, not really (even though I don’t like Sauvage). It would be a sweeter version… tastes are not written in stone.

  • How I hate people who opine on anything. First and foremost, this is a totally masculine fragrance; imagining a woman wearing this seems like a disrespect. Second: it’s a blend of Sauvage EDT with a touch of Creed Aventus, spices, florals, and pineapple. The opening is a bit chaotic but lasts only 30 seconds; that’s when the evolution begins. First, the spicy notes with pineapple stand out, then over time it drifts towards the Sauvage side. It’s a perfect hybrid; the creator is a genius. Now, if the combination were of the quality of the originals, this could clearly be a world-class jewel at a much higher price. Based on price-to-quality ratio: Scent: 10, Longevity: 10 (on my skin it reaches 12 hours), Projection: 9, Sillage: 9 (heavy for 2 hours, decaying slowly).

  • Very good fragrance; I’ve had it for a few months and it truly delivers. Citrus opening with pepper that feels equal in strength, then lavender becomes noticeable along with some spice (I believe it’s saffron). Good longevity of 6 to 7 hours on skin and lasts even longer on clothes. Similar DNA to Dior’s Sauvage.

  • To start, as often happens with me, the first time I tried it, it didn’t quite take my fancy; I suppose because I was expecting something more along the lines of Sauvage. Yes, but Sauvage is better crafted and darkens more as it dries (thanks to that semi-vintage fougere base with a proper masculine edge). Urban Man Elixir, also masculine, is more of a consistent, potent aromatic amber. This fragrance lacks very little; it’s versatile, modern, striking, powerful, stylish, clean, and so on. This could perfectly be a designer perfume costing double or even triple the price, especially if the ingredient quality were improved slightly. It’s a great fragrance; you just need to mind the number of sprays and where you wear it, as the projection and longevity are absolutely phenomenal.

  • tomcastrooo

I’ve had it for a month and only recently managed to smell the Sauvage EDT to compare them; I can say it’s almost identical. I don’t know if it’s my batch or if it needs to be macerated because I don’t find it the beast that reviewers talk about. I consider it projects well for about 1.5 hours more or less and then stays close to the skin. It lasts quite a bit yes but it’s not the trail they promised. Still I find it better than traditional CDN and smells much less burnt. After a few months I’ll review it again to see if performance improves.

  • Diego Bronson

It’s a literal mix between Dior Sauvage EDT and Creed Aventus. Everything perceived is those two scents one after the other. It lasts a very long time and projects very well. It’s versatile but confusing.

  • The truth is when it arrived I atomised it and it smelled old super strong and chemical; I thought I’d ruined my purchase. I left it forgotten for two weeks and then took it on a trip where I sniffed Intense Man; there I realised it was sweeter and I liked it. Now I’ve finished a bottle and bought another because people always ask me which one it is. With 3-4 sprays you’re more than enough; sometimes I put on 7 or 8 and I get dizzy or once I almost vomited (from the strength not the smell which is delicious).

  • SrEpectacular

To me it smells excessively of pineapple with a sour and spicy lemon that cuts the nose. The amber appears at the end. On skin it lasts a short while around 4-6 hours (I expected more) but on clothes it’s noticeable the next day between 9 and 12 hours. After an hour and a half that acidity drops and you notice hints of amber.

  • It’s a true beast with good projection and that potent olfactory effect. It smells clean but also chemical not in a bad way but like a detergent or fabric softener; splendid ideal to wear after a shower. It’s noticeable and good because why buy something you can’t smell? It’s not elegant it’s for daily wear and all seasons. I’d define it as a freshly laundered shirt but better.

  • Best projection and longevity smells wild. The scent isn’t top-tier but it’s rich clean and a bit cloying. The opening is sharp and slightly synthetic. For the price it’s worth it; it’s versatile and you’ll definitely be noticed. It projects for 2-3 hours and on my skin it lasted over 9 hours without issue (in enclosed spaces). If you’ve tried Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum it will sound familiar but with nuances.

  • It drives me mad when they say a perfume is ‘too synthetic’ but this time they caught me red-handed: I didn’t like it. The problem is that artificial smell especially at the start. It’s not that it’s bad simply it fatigues me quickly which is typical of beasts. If you like it and want to buy it test it on your skin for a day or grab a decant to see if you can handle that intensity.

  • It’s well noted with that typical nightclub opening that can sometimes be revolting but after a while it transforms into Dior Sauvage. For the price it’s brilliant and doesn’t smell chemical or artificial as some below claim.

  • diegomtz2003

I love it especially for its versatility: from casual outings to important events. I never get tired of it it lasts long and projects well. Many compare it to Creed Aventus but for me it resonates more with Prada Luna Rossa Carbon very similar and yet I still prefer this Club de Nuit. It’s masculine clean fresher than warm but with a sweet and sexy touch ideal for cold weather or night without being cloying. It’s not for purists but it’s an excellent option if you want something rich long-lasting and suitable for everything at a good price.

  • Those who claim it’s unisex are the same people who call a grey garment ‘black’; something strange in their heads. It’s a brutal fragrance sweet yet not taking anything away from the man. Olfactory fatigue? Absolutely and perhaps that’s why it feels it doesn’t last long but it projects like crazy. You don’t need to spray much; the scent is exquisite. It resembles Dior Sauvage but with its own nuances. If you don’t like it it’s not your style or you have bad memories not because it’s a bad fragrance; that’s a fallacy.
