  • The opening is very chocolatey, but that’s all it is and lasts only 10 minutes. Then it shifts to a sweet masculine scent like Invictus Victory. It wasn’t what I expected; I was looking for something more gourmand, but it doesn’t disgust me.

  • Incredibly edible, no nonsense. It literally smells like opening a tablet of chocolate hazelnut spread: sweet, creamy, and so realistic that with your eyes closed, you might want to take a bite. Over time, it evolves: the chocolate fades to give way to vanilla, coffee, and a soft amber base. Nothing invasive or cloying. It’s not a bomb like Lattafa’s Khamrah, and that makes it elegant and wearable in the gourmand world.

  • The initial blast is coffee and chocolate in full force, followed by a biscuit note (I suppose it’s the knafeh) and a nutty touch, not too much pistachio. Within minutes, it reminds me of Le Beau but sweeter. I didn’t expect this and I love it. It leans slightly masculine, but if you’re a woman who wears masculine fragrances like I do, you’ll surely like it.

Imagine a chocolate and peanut ice lolly; that’s it with a caramel dry-down (a rich dry-down, reminds me of Sky Mandarine). According to reviewers: chocolate with pistachio. According to me: coffee with peanuts. It’s not bad, I simply wouldn’t use it as I’m not a true gourmand fan. What a pity it smells so much of peanuts and not so much of chocolate. I only tested it, so I have no further data.

  • Despite the comments, this is a super gourmand fragrance. It smells just like Dior Homme Intense but with a different twist: at first, it smells like chocolate and coffee, and by the second hour, the hazelnut comes through. It works perfectly on women without any issues. It’s 100% for nightwear. The price is high for an Arabic scent; I’ll have to wait for the hype and cost to come down.

  • Surprising! If you’re a collector, buy it now because it doesn’t resemble anything else. I was very surprised because I thought it would be similar to Eclat or Bianco Latte, but for me, the gourmand aspect is only in the opening, with a dark chocolate that quickly becomes soft. Here’s the good part: after three hours, halfway through its life, it’s totally different. It’s elegant and on my skin, it’s 100% masculine; on clothing, it’s slightly dusty, very elegant, and nothing edible, which I didn’t expect, reminding me of something from Dior. Hours later, it changes again. To finish, it’s somewhat like an Arabian Tonka but creamy and dusty, very different from its first two phases. Very distinct, it ends with creamy, dusty, and sweet notes. To my taste, it’s spectacular. I’ve tested it over several days; on clothing, the scent lasts to the next day, leaving a vanilla and caramel trail that isn’t present on the skin. It’s a fragrance that has everything. A true journey that perfume lovers will appreciate, so share it, it’s worth this modern curiosity. It’s a chameleon that smells different on blotter, clothing, and skin (depending on the person), and in my case, it’s very persistent, lasting easily around ten hours.

I was given a sample when buying another perfume and WOW! I fell in love immediately. I ordered it straight away, but not for myself, for my husband. It smells exactly as the notes describe: coffee, chocolate, pistachio… Once dry, it smells of coffee with chocolate, and for some reason, I detect a slight patchouli base that makes it more masculine. I’m not an expert in perfumes, nor in men’s or unisex scents (I wear very feminine fragrances), but this one tempts me too much to wear on my husband for a date or a special night; it’s made to be devoured.

I tried it on both young and older people, and for some reason the younger ones prefer it. It is a rich scent with notes of cocoa, nuts and coffee. I only see it as usable on autumn days or nights, or when it is cold.

I tested it on both young and older people, and for some reason, the younger ones seem to prefer it. It’s a rich perfume with notes of cocoa, various nuts, and coffee. I only see it as wearable on autumn days or nights, or when it’s cold.

  • Arrived yesterday and I tested it on blotter, skin, and clothing. At first glance, it’s a super gourmand and captivating fragrance that stands out both within the Odyssey line and in the general market. The opening is dominated by coffee and hazelnuts, accompanied by a pistachio that holds its own. As it evolves, the coffee recedes to make way for a darker chocolate (not milk chocolate), along with caramel and amber wood. It will definitely draw attention and earn compliments. It’s worth seeing how the scent settles after maceration. Rating: 8/10.

First things first: it smells different in the bottle, but on skin it’s another league altogether. I went crazy as soon as I sprayed it from the atomiser; it’s an addictive blend of chocolate, pistachio, hazelnuts and coffee that you can’t stop smelling. On skin it becomes earthier and more chocolatey, very gourmand. The longevity is brutal: for the first two or three hours it’s at full strength, then it fades but remains noticeable until eight hours. On clothes it would last days, or even until washing. I only wear it in autumn and winter, at night. It’s unisex but leans masculine due to the intensity of the chocolate and coffee. Points for Armaf for the creativity and the power.

First and foremost: it smells different in the bottle compared to on the skin. Smelling it from the atomiser went crazy; an addictive aroma with lots of chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut, and coffee. On the skin, it becomes more earthy and chocolatey. It’s very gourmand. The longevity is excellent: two or three hours very strong, then it fades but remains noticeable until 8 o’clock. On clothes, it lasts four days or until washed. I use it in autumn/winter, at night. It’s unisex leaning towards masculine due to the strong chocolate. A point for Armaf for the creativity and potency.

  • I don’t like its dry-down; it seems to lose its gourmand character and the alcohol becomes quite noticeable. I’m also not sure what occasion to use it for. It’s only worth it if you’re looking for an olfactory experience.

  • Many people here use the word gourmand like little girls with a new doll, haha. If the perfume deserves that label, it is interesting and unique in my opinion. It evokes a café: lots of coffee, chocolate, a mocha, light pistachio, hazelnuts, caramel, etc. If you are a lover of these scents, I recommend it. If it reacts well to your skin, it is very delicious. Dare to try it.

  • Here, many people use the word gourmand as if they’ve just won the lottery, haha. If this perfume deserves that label, it’s interesting and unique in my opinion. It evokes a café filled with coffee, chocolate, a mocha, a light touch of pistachio, hazelnuts, and caramel. If you’re a lover of these scents, I recommend it. If it reacts well to your skin type, it’s absolutely delicious. Go for it.

  • I really loved it. The opening is a blend that gives the sensation of smelling a peanut and coffee ice cream. Then, as it dries down, it reminds me of Lattafa Wazeer with that caramel note. Highly recommended, perfect for cold weather and evening wear.

  • When you smell it, you know that influencers like Scentopia need an urgent nose wash. I’d describe it as rancid cookie ice cream with even more overripe chocolate, totally unpleasant.

  • Literally for the first three hours you smell a chocolate biscuit. It is a gourmand aroma mixing chocolate with a light touch of coffee. It smells delicious and you can tell the quality, but it smells like a biscuit. My wife loved it; she went crazy. At first she thought I had eaten dessert, but when I told her it was perfume, her head exploded, haha, it was an aromatic rebirth. Now, do not be led astray by the opening; the perfume is more than that. What I like most is the dry down: that amberwood with caramel and tonka bean gives me a creamy, sweet, elegant and extremely high-quality sensation. I was surprised. The wood is so good it reminds me of perfumes that combine elegant oud with vanilla. I loved the dry down. It lasts 10 hours comfortably.

  • Hello, I can’t believe anyone likes this. It’s chocolate from start to finish, very intense, and leaves no room for other notes. If you want to smell like you’ve just had a chocolate rush, perfect, but to me, it seems disgusting.

A gourmet coffee for connoisseurs. From the first spray, it’s a deep and enveloping experience. The opening is glorious: imagine opening a bag of roasted beans with crunchy hazelnuts, caramelised pistachio, bitter chocolate, and a dry vanilla base that softens without being cloying. Although it has tempting notes like praline and caramel, it surprises by not being excessively sweet. Here there’s no easy dessert or trendy fragrance; it’s a spiced, dark coffee, elegant and adult. It’s not versatile for daily wear: it’s for cold climates, special nights, or moments to stand out. I wouldn’t recommend it blindly. It’s not bad or vintage; it’s simply distinct. If you seek more sweetness or a commercial gourmand, perhaps Khamrah Qahwa is your style. But if you like characterful, deep coffee drinks, this is a success. Note: 9/10. An exquisite indulgence.

  • Azariel_Nox

I bought a decant and after trying it, I reached two conclusions: it smells more like coffee than chocolate in the opening, leaving a peanut or pistachio scent (difficult to distinguish). It’s good but won’t suit everyone, especially the overly sweet caramel base. If you don’t like gourmands or pistachios, stay far away; it’s not suitable for your nose x_x.

  • Nazareno Aranda

Deliciously rich as a scent, smelling of chocolate with pistachio and bitter coffee. I emphasise, deliciously rich as a scent, but NOT as a perfume. It’s not something I’d want to smell; it’s as if that chocolate had spilled on me and coffee poured over it. I prefer more complex scents.

  • The ideal scent for a room diffuser: a warm aroma of nut and coffee, as if your grandmother is preparing a snack and telling stories by the fire. But as a perfume, it’s an absolute no; you can’t walk down the street smelling like a bakery. It’s not a gourmand like others with toffee or vanilla; it’s an extreme bakery diffuser. Not recommended.

  • Upon opening, it smells of chocolate and roasted nuts, with little pistachio note. Once it dries on the skin, everything disappears, leaving a slightly sweetened coffee bean. It smells different in the air compared to on the skin. It’s not a classic gourmand; it’s very unisex in dry-down and boys will surely like it. I like it, it’s distinct, and we’ll see how it evolves over time.

  • It doesn’t smell like perfume; it smells like pure gourmand. It’s literally what it claims to be: pistachio and chocolate, nothing more.

  • If you’re dying for chocolate or coffee with pistachio scents, this is for you. If you wear it with your partner, they’ll eat it 😂😂.

  • I bought it because I am a gourmand lover, but… this is too much. It literally smells like a nut biscuit BUT OF PLASTIC. It is a very synthetic scent. It is the first time my three trusted friends have made faces of rejection at such a sweet ‘gourmand’ perfume. This has no shape or occasion for use, none. The only very contrived occasion I found is if you are six years old and going to your cousin Jose’s fifth birthday party. That is the only occasion I see for it. Now the projection is poor; it projects for half an hour and lasts about four hours. With this perfume I realised that smelling something literally (a plastic nut biscuit in this case) is not a good idea or what I am looking for. Scent: 2/10 Age: 1-10 years Duration: Poor Projection: Poor Rating: 0/10

  • Federico Luis

It’s the same smell you get when you enter a vape shop; more precisely, it’s very similar to the Lucky 13 Cafe Racer liquid.

  • I bought this because I’m a gourmand fan, but it smells like plastic walnut cookie. It’s incredibly synthetic and my inner circle rejected it outright. There’s no place or occasion for it; the only option is for a 5th birthday. The projection is terrible, lasts half an hour, and fades away within four hours. Smelling like plastic cookie is not a good idea. Note: 2/10, poor projection and longevity, 0/10 for performance.

  • I didn’t like it because the chocolate with spices scent is very noticeable; it reminded me of Axe Chocolate. Undoubtedly it’s for open spaces, at night, and in cold weather; during the day it repels, I didn’t like it.

  • Candycandy40

The Dubai chocolate trend has reached perfumery too, and this Odyssey is a prime example. It opens with a good blast of rich cocoa and pistachio, although then it fades and settles into an intimate trail. Likewise, given the price, it doesn’t matter if you reapply. For gourmand lovers.

  • FredHunterEx

I just tried it; the opening is very sharp, very alcoholic, and the first thing I smell is an overpowering pistachio. I have the Montale Chocolate Greedy here and they are similar in some way; the difference is that the Montale smells like real cookies, those chocolate chip ones fresh out of the oven. Given the price, you obviously feel the difference. Poor fixative for an EDP. Frankly, I’d use it as a bakery air freshener to attract more customers.

  • It’s the worst Arabic perfume I own; it smells like nothing after half an hour. Pistachios, chocolate? Where? They’re not there and aren’t expected; it has a strong opening of liquor and unsweetened black coffee, nothing more, neither gourmand nor sweet, nor anything at all. As soon as you wait a few minutes expecting the praline, the chocolate, the nuts… you’re left exactly that: waiting, because they never arrive. After half an hour the coffee scent disappears and leaves a aftertaste I’m not sure what it is (it smells so little it’s hard to distinguish) and it’s over. A true perfume scam; I regret buying it very much.

  • It’s really very strong at first and I hardly liked it, but when it dries down, it’s incredible: a sensual and warm scent that lasts all day, it’s incredible.

  • Don’t be fooled by that ultra-intense Dubai chocolate opening. This fragrance develops slowly to integrate the coffee. In the end, it’s a rich blend of sweet chocolate and coffee. I’ve received the best compliments with it. It leaves a noticeable trail of several metres behind. The longevity isn’t the best, but I get around 6-7 hours. The projection is beastly at first, then it dissipates. Be careful; one day I wore it and it started getting hot, and the fragrance projected like a beast, so much so that it gave me a headache. Only wear it when it’s hot in open spaces, or don’t apply it directly. Scent 10/10, Projection 7.5/10, Longevity 7/10, Overall Fragrance 9/10. It would be better with more projection on skin, but on clothes it can last days and I could still smell it intensely from afar. A strange fragrance, I’m letting it mature to see how it evolves. EDIT: After a month of maceration, this fragrance has turned into an ultra-long-lasting beast. Moreover, everything smells much better; the difference is incredibly noticeable. After 24 hours of wearing it, I showered and started receiving avianilla scents. Very soft, but you can’t ask for more given how long it stayed on skin. Moderate but very constant projection. My new rating: 10/10 for fragrance.

This Armaf option isn’t for the young; it’s a dense, black chocolate so dark it stinks, so dark it’s hungry, so dark it has Ebola, so dark it’s barefoot; with a strong scent of roasted, almost burnt coffee, and an alcoholic hazelnut note like Frangelico, plus an undeclared tobacco note that strips away any feminine air. There’s no way this fragrance passes under the table if you have the guts to pull a trigger; although the opening might scare most people, the dry-down is kinder. If you imagine the Harry Potter universe, this would be Bellatrix Lestrange’s perfume: imposing, dark, sweet, dirty, and perverse. If you want to feel like that, it’s your fragrance. Although it’s more masculine, it could be ideal for the nearly extinct urban tribe or even as a signature scent.
