Spiced woods. This perfume is majestic, evoking highly spiced wood with a sweet touch. Very well balanced, the scent is a whole from the start. It became one of my favourites from the beginning because it’s easy to process.
Spiced woods: this fragrance is majestic, smelling of well-seasoned wood with a sweet hint. Very balanced, it smells great from the moment it’s sprayed. It’s a niche unisex scent that works wonderfully in the heat. It has become one of my favourites because it’s not difficult to wear.
It’s a pity it lasts so little on my skin. Tomorrow I’ll give it a second chance with more sprays, but I fear it won’t convince me. The scent is lovely, but at this price, it’s not enough. I accept reapplying after 5 or 6 hours, but when I have to do it because it’s not even noticeable on the skin, I discard it. What a pity because I’ve loved its aroma.
Spices, woods, cedar, and a faint whiff of smoke with lots of cinnamon. Without being sweet or gourmand, a touch of honey sweetens and juxtaposes those woods that would otherwise be harsh. It’s a cosy, warm fragrance for winter or autumn, unisex though it leans slightly towards the masculine side. But, mind you, that’s my impression. It evokes a tranquil place like a cabin in a conifer forest, a smoking fireplace, flannel pyjamas, snow on the leaf litter, firewood, and a pot of water, syrup, and lots of cinnamon. It’s not really my style or the most versatile, but it’s not challenging and has quality.
Crimson Rocks is an easy pick if we stick to the standards Amouage sets. It’s a non-overpowering wood and spice blend with a honey touch that makes it rich and appealing. Cinnamon takes the lead, mixing beautifully with everything. I see it as unisex; it performs well (though perhaps not quite as much as some of the brand’s beast modes) and suits temperate or cold climates. I only have a sample, but I’ll definitely buy it. Rating: 8/10

I see it as unisex with good performance, though perhaps inferior to other beasts from the brand, and I see it for temperate and cold climates. Although I’m not generally a fan of sweet scents, this works wonderfully. I see it as feminine, but with great density, intensity, and a medium-to-high trail; the longevity is fair but reasonable. The woody cinnamon note comes out soft and addictive. On a woman, it seems kind and sensual without feeling cheap, very elegant and sincere. It starts dense and creamy, then settles while maintaining presence. On a second wear, I notice more conflict between the sweet and bitter notes; I like it more than expected. The bitterness reminds me of almond, but the honey and cinnamon still dominate. It’s too feminine and sweet for me, but it has exceptional quality and effect.
The best thing about this perfume is that people compliment you. It’s not for everyone; it has a complex scent, but it’s brilliant. To me, it smells like sharpening a wooden pencil, mixed with something sweet in the background and a very, very subtle rose that doesn’t overwhelm.
My boyfriend gifted me this based on a recommendation, thinking I’d like something sweet. And yes, it is sweet, but not that youthful touch I was seeking at 21; it suits me better as woody and spiced, with cinnamon and a very dense honey. I haven’t worn it for a year, and curiously, it smells better with each passing day. It’s ideal for very elegant and occasional occasions, something nocturnal that requires knowing how to wear it. It wasn’t the perfect option for me, but it is far from being a bad fragrance.
