A fragrance 100% for night and as fresh as ice. Goes hand in hand with electronics and is perfect for those night parties.
I don’t understand why it’s judged so harshly; it’s quite good and targets a very specific audience: lovers of the oriental and mysterious. It’s purely spicy, with cardamom front and centre that reminds me a lot of Clive Christian X and Ormonde Man Cardamomo. The pepper gives way to a soft incense that dominates the composition from start to finish. Very well blended, stately and elegant, pure Amouage style. The longevity is very good; the only downside is the bottle, which, although striking, doesn’t reflect what’s inside.
Absolutely spectacular! I saw it in the window and was hooked the moment I sprayed it once. That kick of pepper, ginger and cardamom with a base of damp stable straw (without being animalic), then rose, benzoin, incense and that smoky touch. I’m blown away! I have four units. I use it in autumn and winter, and in summer just one spray to surprise. A real winner! I hope Xerjoff doesn’t discontinue it; it’s wonderful and exclusive. My wife initially said: ‘What the hell have you put on? Don’t buy it’. I replied: ‘Just testing’. Three days later, at night, in a restaurant, she said: ‘You smell great, I love it, buy it’. It was the one she didn’t want before! She was thrilled. Then at a school event, four mothers aged 35-40 asked me about it. People find it strange, but women absolutely love it. It’s for formal occasions, shirt and jeans or a suit, nothing in tracksuit bottoms. For people over 30. Best regards.
This is a cracker. Cardamom and incense with a super modern twist. It’s one of those that clings to your clothes for several days, so don’t miss out.
Smells like Zara Magnificently Dubai. I like it, though I don’t love it; it’s good but I wouldn’t recommend it. There are better options from the brand, but this one is a bit too overpowering.
Smells good, but you can tell it lacks some punch. It has that resinous touch with incense and spices that people enjoy, without being an overpowering bomb. It’s very similar to Zara’s Magnificently Dubai or Ard Al Zaafaran’s Midnight Oud, though those two prioritise performance. If you want to spend less but get more strength, I’d go for one of those instead; they’re essentially the same but of better quality. Don’t buy it without smelling it first, as it’s not for everyone. 🕉️
It smells just like Zara Magnificently Dubai! It’s a fragrance that suits me, not that I’m in love with it, but it does the job. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend it because there are better options from the same brand. However, this one sticks to the skin like crazy and has its own character.
