Created by Federico Cantelli, it sets toasted, spiced notes against a smooth heart of milk and chocolate.
It opens with coffee, rum, black pepper and jasmine. The coffee is darkly roasted, the rum warm and liqueur-like, while black pepper lends bright spice.
Jasmine lightens the mood with white blossom, lending a fresh, faintly powdery lift that stops the gourmand side becoming too dense.
Coconut, caramel, milk and chocolate form the heart. Coconut gives roundness, caramel a melting sweetness, milk a gentle softness and chocolate a fuller, cosy richness.
Patchouli, vanilla, sandalwood and white musk shape the dry-down. Patchouli brings earthy depth, sandalwood a creamy woodiness and white musk a tidy, talc-like veil.
The result remains an Oriental Vanilla with white floral, musky, freshly spiced and woody nuances, designed to sit equally well on him or her.
