  I’m the first to review this perfume and I absolutely love Delizia Oscura, which remains my favourite. This one smells more feminine, like salted chocolate cookies; the citrus makes it less sweet and I see it as more gourmet and relaxed, without being a bomb like the previous one. It reminds me of Greedy chocolate and Mexican cookies called Cremax when opening the bag. I would buy it again; it’s not very expensive, although I prefer Delizia Oscura a thousand times over, which is truly a perfume masterpiece. This one takes a back seat.

To my mind, this one is more feminine; I feel it’s like salted chocolate cookies. The citrus is what makes it not so sweet… I see it as very gourmet; I don’t feel it’s a bomb like Delizia Oscura; this one is more relaxed. It reminds me a bit of Greedy chocolate and reminds me of cookies called Cremax sold in Mexico when you open the bag; that’s what it smells like. I would buy it again. It’s not very expensive; I prefer Delizia Oscura a thousand times; that one is truly a perfume masterpiece. This one takes a back seat.

  This is unreal: freshly applied, it smells like a traditional dulce de leche called ‘Gloria de Linares’, then incredible nut notes emerge, the DNA of Delizia Oscura with more punch and vanilla. Projection and longevity are Calaj style: brilliant, though slightly less than its sibling, persisting for 24 hours and even on clothes after washing. I’ve used it twice and everyone has told me it smells delicious, even from a distance. In a pharmacy, some ladies asked if it was snow and dirt thrown away… It’s not elegant, but a pleasant scent that gives confidence. Buy blindly if you like this style. Projection, trail, and longevity 10/10, scent 9/10. Recommendation: maximum 2 sprays, half on the neck and half on the arms.

  Love at first sniff. I met this new Calaj fragrance with high expectations, and far from disappointing, I absolutely adore it. Upon application, it’s a BOOM that explodes all over your face; if you know Amouage’s Opus XIV, you’ll understand how it expands like an atomic bomb. It’s dark chocolate with spectacular hazelnut and salted caramel cookie. It’s not cloying, but a dry sweet with a touch of incense tobacco. I prefer it to its predecessor as it’s less sweet. Although I’m not a gourmand fan, this is a work of art. Scent and projection 10, trail 10, value 8. Its only drawback is the price, but it’s worth its weight in gold for being so little known. Don’t buy blindly; it’s not the typical sweet treat. EDIT: After showers and sleeping, it remains tattooed on my skin. BOOM 24h++

  Love at first sniff. Today I had the pleasure of meeting this new Calaj fragrance; I had many expectations, which sometimes leads to disappointment, but this is definitely not the case. This is exquisite… Upon atomising it, it’s a BOOM that explodes all over your face. If you know Amouage’s Opus XIV, you’ll understand what I mean; this expands through the air like an atomic bomb. A delicious aroma where you can taste the chocolate, a dark/black chocolate, spectacular hazelnut, and the waffle/cookie with salted caramel. Few scents have this typical hazelnut aroma found in chocolate creams, but it is by no means cloying; it’s a dark sweet with a touch of dry incense tobacco. As its name suggests, Delizia Oscura, it resembles its predecessor without doubt, but I like this one more; for me, it’s less sweet and that’s what I love. I’m not a gourmand fan, but one must recognise that this is a work of art. Scent 10, Projection 10 (irreality beast), Trail 10, Value 8. Without a doubt, its only handicap is its price, but you pay it and feel more at ease than a bush. Wearing a perfume few know is worth its weight in gold. DO NOT buy blindly. It is not the typical sweet gourmand. EDIT: After applying a single atomisation to my wrist, then another fragrance in the afternoon, going through two showers and a night’s sleep… the fragrance remains tattooed on my skin. BOOM 24h++
