Have you worn Devils Food?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. I bought this excitedly due to my chocolate addiction and the quirky name. Upon arrival, I tried to force myself to like it, but it’s an exaggeration of synthetic sweetness to the point of being nauseating; it’s unusable as a perfume. It smells like a sugary chocolate glaze, or rather, the worst synthetic chocolate scent you can buy for a dollar at Dollar City to air freshen a house. And yet, I love super-sweet gourmands. My wife did like it. The real issue isn’t that it’s synthetic, but that it’s not something to wear on a person due to the scent type—it’s far too sweet. In the end, I used it to scent my sheets, letting it dry for a long time so the smell would mellow. Don’t waste your money on this.

Delicious! It starts with milk chocolate. The person I bought it for told me it smells like Sam’s chocolate cake, and yes, it does smell like that rich cake with its glaze. Well, basically, if you’ve ever encountered the Bioscent Chocolate body splash here in Mexico, available at the supermarket, it smells very similar. The only difference is that this one lasts longer and evolves from milk chocolate into a delicious vanilla chocolate.
