I’m not sure if it’s my nose, but I only detect a spicy musk like sandalwood. I don’t feel the milk or rice notes found in Piano Santal, which does smell comforting. Here, the sandalwood is irritating when dry and on the skin. Only in the dry-down after a day does it start to smell creamy with steamed rice; on my skin, it never arrives. Lasts six hours with average projection. Selling a 10ml decant.
I’m disappointed with this and all of BTSO’s fragrances: they smell the same, with a sweet, artificial base that doesn’t justify the price. I arrived ready to spend and left with an empty wallet and a broken heart.
One thing, but this smells like Sakai from Mercadona. At least Sakai has more character and punch; Dirty Rice is weak, bland, and barely scents.
