Tabbeau Place’s Dusk Temple is a woody oriental for women and men, introduced in 2025. Bright at first, it gradually turns towards balm and shadow.
Bergamot and rose lead the top, sage, nutmeg and incense form the heart, and labdanum, cypriol, hyacinth and oud wood shape the base.
At the start, bergamot lends a citrus clarity that keeps the rose poised and unsweetened. The effect is fresh yet expectant.
Through the centre, aromatic sage and warming nutmeg prepare the way for incense. The smoke here is dry and still rather than heavy.
Beneath, labdanum offers a balsamic amber roundness, cypriol a dry, earthy woodiness, and oud wood a deep, dark frame. Hyacinth contributes a green floral coolness that stops the base from closing in.
The character as a whole is amber, smoky, balsamic and woody, with rose, warm spice and citrus highlights. Made for dusk and after, it wears close and considered.
Suited to lovers of shared woody orientals, meditative incense and restrained rose, who prefer resinous warmth to sweetness.
