The perfume announces itself with neroli, pink pepper, and green mandarin. The effect is bright and slightly sharp: neroli brings crisp floralcy, pink pepper warms with a gentle spice, and green mandarin adds an unsweetened citrus bite.
At its heart, eau de pensée pairs osmanthus with ambergris and yerba mate. The osmanthus gives a rounded floral glow; the ambergris introduces a saline, almost mineral edge; and yerba mate contributes a bitter, tea-leaf greenness. This middle section is unusual without being difficult.
