  My favourite discovery: I was looking for spring scents and ordered several decants. This was my favourite, a sweet, fruity freshness; the pear and banana opening is sweet, fresh, and sparkling. The floral base is elegant and fresh, a versatile fragrance that doesn’t tire or bore. It smells like holding a bouquet of fresh flowers while you have a fruit juice on the table. A total success.

  My star find: I was searching for something spring-like and tried several decants. This was the winner, a sweet and fruity freshness where the pear and banana open with a spark. The floral base is elegant and light, a versatile aroma that doesn’t bore. Imagine holding a bunch of freshly cut flowers with a fruit juice on the table. A total success.

  I ordered this because Fragantica described it as similar to the Gucci version; I loved it, but it didn’t last on my skin at all. I thought Eau de Soleil would behave the same way, but it didn’t: unlike the Gucci, this one actually lasts. They aren’t identical, but very similar. The Gucci is more floral, and on my nose, I detect an undeclared citrus note that gives it a tartness and freshness that Eau de Soleil lacks. If I hadn’t seen the notes and reviews for Eau de Soleil, I wouldn’t have picked up the banana, which in reality lasts only a few minutes. To my mind, this scent is ‘sandy’ and sweet, if you will (I imagine a very, very ripe pear), but predominantly floral, with a good trail of about two hours… Lasts approximately six hours on skin and until the next day on clothes. That’s when, after several hours, the vanilla becomes noticeable. You can feel the evolution of the notes. I give it 100 out of 10 for me, because I absolutely love this DNA 😍
