El Capitán Legacy by Gulf Orchid is a 2025 creation belonging to the oriental fougère olfactory family, designed for men and women. This new fragrance unveils an olfactory pyramid where the top notes combine the freshness of pineapple, the citrus of orange, green nuances, and bergamot. The heart of the composition is sustained by the elegance of lavender, the delicacy of violet, and the warmth of amber. Finally, the base notes land on a sensual woody foundation formed by patchouli, musk, and cashmere.

This is a Le Beau Le Parfum; I’d give it a 90. Super good.
This smells 90% like Le Beau Le Parfum. Super good.
I’ve just finished the bottle! It lasted three months because I did everything possible to make it last. It’s brilliant, super tropical, and I personally detect a lot of coconut 🥥 even though it’s not declared as a note here on Fragrantica. I think it sits right between Le Beau Le Parfum and Paradise Garden. I received a huge amount of compliments; I work as a waiter and have to interact with many people daily, with at least one person a day asking what I’m wearing. The trail is quite good, the longevity is very good even on my skin which is very ungrateful with perfumes, and the projection is solid (almost heavy) for the first hour and a half, then moderate for the rest of the perfume’s life. There’s little evolution, but it doesn’t need it. I’ll buy it again for the rest of the summer and will even test how it behaves in winter. At the approximate $20 it costs here in Chile, it’s a mistake not to own it ❕

The trail is excellent, longevity is superb on my skin which usually hates perfumes, and the projection is solid (almost heavy) for the first hour and a half, then settles to a moderate sillage. Minimal evolution, but it doesn’t need it. I’ll be buying this again this summer and will test it out in winter. At around $20 here in Chile, it’s a mistake not to own it ❕
