The idea is one of gradual transformation, from dewy rose and orchard fruit through a spiced floral centre towards woods, amber resins and musk.
Up top sit rose water, pear, hazelnut, bitter almond, olibanum incense and pink pepper. The fruit feels succulent, the rose water airy, and the nutty notes lend a patisserie-like smoothness with a flicker of peppery heat.
The middle places rose alongside osmanthus, saffron and sambac jasmine. Osmanthus contributes a honeyed, apricot character, saffron a restrained warmth, and sambac a clean white-floral lift.
Underneath, sandalwood, Akigalawood, vanilla, ambrette musk, ambergris, labdanum, Georgywood and cypriol form a deep, multi-layered bed. Balsamic softness meets creamy wood and a drier, faintly earthy backbone.
