I stumbled upon this in a small Arab shop; the kind owner let me test several on blotter paper. Nothing caught my eye until the Fakhama Assala Prime. It’s not groundbreaking, but they take that familiar fruity DNA and add a citrus twist that lightens the sweet load. It’s affordable, the packaging is charming, and the atomiser is a 10/10. Ideal if you like fruity scents but find excessive vanilla overwhelming. It’s unisex, versatile, not a beast, with moderate to good longevity and a short but noticeable projection.
Iguanodondy
Sweet, fresh and fruity, with a subtle citrus touch and a sandalwood vanilla base. It smells like being 11 years old at an amusement park when your parents arrive with gelatin sweets covered in caramel. It won’t leave you hairless, but you’ll definitely say, ‘That smells delicious!’ It lasts about eight hours on skin with a pleasant projection of two hours at 50cm. Perfect for men wanting to smell fresh or ladies feeling youthful. Blind buy, highly recommended for spring-summer, office, sport and informal events. The box is simple but well-designed, the bottle is gorgeous with tribal details, and the atomiser beats Xerjoff’s, creating a dense mist beyond 30cm. Incredible, it ranks among the best I’ve tried. Let it macerate and see how it evolves.
