Oh, oh, oh… Verónica Kato, you have bewitched me with this wonderful creation. Excellent perfume.
I agree with Ceci Café. As soon as I smelled the sample, I fell in love. I’m waiting for it to arrive in my next order. There’s something in its notes that reminds me of a sweet-salty sunflower seed snack sold in the diet shops in Rosario. It’s a well-woody citrus; it doesn’t smell like lemongrass, lemon confit or citrus fruits. I’d use the word ‘woody’ to describe this citrus, although I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly… It’s truly a very pleasant perfume, with a certain warmth and depth, hard to imagine as going wrong because it marks more of the wearer’s imprint than the situation… Could it be unisex? Re-editing when I have it and use it a bit more. Re-edit March 2018: During summer, it’s difficult for me to wear it because the opening reminds me hugely of the essences used to make sweet bread, orange blossom water and pudding… It results in a food-like scent that ends up making me use others. Anyway, my sister uses it and I love smelling it on her. I’ll try it again when the temperatures drop.
I was given a sample and was a bit picky because it doesn’t smell sweet but rather fresh, citrusy and woody… But afterwards I spent the whole day applying drops because I’ve always liked it. It’s rich and sophisticated, very elegant. It’s not youthful, but I think people from 25 onwards could wear it.
I adore its scent; it’s unique. I perceive it as floral, fresh and sweet; it’s one of my new favourites.
Out of this world, a creative, feminine, sweet and woody perfume. There’s nothing else like it on the market. The bottle is small but worth buying several of; it’s a valuable creation.
To me, it smells of woods. In fact, almost all Natura fragrances share that same woody base and more woodiness.
I absolutely love it; it smells superb, very Amazonian with its priprioca and woody notes; it’s one of my favourites.
I have it and it is like being in the jungle; it is a madness of love, natural and precious
I tried it today and it is winning me over half an hour after applying it with body oil. They say it does not last, but I do not mind reapplying
It says it is for men and women, but no, it smells extremely feminine
I bought this fragrance purely by intuition after reading its composition. Woody scents have always caught my attention; although they’re not my preferred aromas, something happens with my pH that makes it smell very good and last on my skin. Flor do luar on my skin has a sparkling citrus opening, with very noticeable presence and quite a trail (I know because people ask me what I’m wearing); it bears no resemblance to other fragrances, not even within Natura. After a while, the woods appear, which are moist in all subsequent phases. During the day, I would smell the aroma and fall in love again, as it lasted a long time on my skin (about 6/8 hours). It’s a unique, very striking, citrusy and woody scent, but with a very feminine touch, between sweet and oriental yet soft. On my skin, what stands out most is its woody component, but not linear or dry, rather sparkling and moist. For me, this fragrance evoked an Amazonian nature in the morning, very sunny but still damp from the dew. I recommend it totally to those who dare with non-sweet aromas that are currently in fashion.
I bought it by intuition after reading the composition. I love woody notes because they smell wonderful and last on my skin. Flor do Luar has a sparkling citrus opening with great sillage; no one asks me what I am wearing. Then come wet woods that last six to eight hours. It is unique, citrusy, woody, feminine, sweet and soft. On my skin, the woody, sparkling and wet aspects stand out, like a sunny, wet Amazonian morning. I recommend it to the bold
I thought it was horrible at first, haha! But then it won me over. It is incredibly rich and unique
It happens to me with Natura too: from love to hate in a second. At first it was exotic and rich, but it turned into a very potent and tiring floral. Buy the small versions
I loved it at first, but over the days it started to annoy me; a note like a cactus flower gives me nausea, so I will have to gift it
It reminds me of Fidji by Guy Laroche
Of this perfume, I can say it’s a floral, sensual, even elegant scent that, in my opinion, denotes tidiness. But I can’t imagine it on a man; I think it’s totally feminine.
It is floral, sensual and elegant, suggesting total cleanliness, but it is 100% feminine; I do not see it on a man
Smells almost identical to Elles 360
Well, Flor de Luar has pleased me greatly since the first sniff. It’s hard for me to describe it; it’s a very special scent. It’s like a citrus floral, yet at the same time deep and woody but in no way heavy. Curiously, contrary to its name, it has seemed solar and bright to me at times. The lunar aspect perhaps projects more in night use, thanks to its woody side, and surely its scent takes a turn when used in autumn. A very interesting scent that deserves to be known. It has seemed somewhat unisex to me at points. Natura, they stand out and surprise more and more with each release.
A very rich fragrance! In reality, it’s not among my preferred aromas (I prefer gourmands, well-sweet but complex). I sense it as citrusy and lemony in the opening, then it turns floral and quite sweet on my skin as it dries. It’s a strange, attractive, and sensual scent, difficult to describe, but not common. I think it has the right dose between citrus, floral, sweet, and it’s elegant and sophisticated. I like it, though I’m not fascinated because it’s not my style (in fact, I sometimes use it, but my mother uses it more), and I think I like smelling it on her better than on myself. The longevity is excellent; it lasts quite a while. I consider that, while it’s not so strong or nocturnal, it would look very good for late afternoon/evening and I don’t find it bothersome for hot climates or summer. Worth having.
A very rich fragrance! In my opinion, I see it as much more elegant than the other Ekos; it’s special and highly recommended.
Essence of a muse: eclipsed between moon flowers. Freedom between a wild touch not everyone can handle, lost in the humidity of the jungle and its sounds at night, with raindrops falling on its rivers and wetting the earth to unfold its unmistakable aroma, feeding the orchids that cling to the trees. This is Flor do Luar, a fragrance from Natura’s Ekos line that arrived as a gift to celebrate a new year, exalting the orchid, the main note representing sexuality in the plant kingdom, and fusing it with seduction and delicacy. Created in homage to the Moon Flower of the Amazon, which only blooms once a year in the shadows. Rare, it stands out among other flowers, and those who appreciate small details let themselves be enveloped by its mystery. Thus, you eclipsed me; being an Eau de Toilette, the time it lasts on my skin envelops me with your exotic floral scent that blends with my natural essence, leaving a woody, resinous, slightly herbal trail, not precisely fresh or ethereal. It’s an interesting option for those who love scents with mysterious touches and wish to highlight their skin discreetly, knowing themselves to be sensual and attractive without great gimmicks. Created in 2016 by Verónica Kato. Projection: soft. Longevity: 2 to 3 hours on skin. For daily use, better performance in mild or humid climates. Olfactory path: sensual floral. Top notes: lemon, tangerine, and green notes. Heart notes: chocolate orchid, gardenia, jasmine, rose, violet, and essential oils of priprioca and Amazonian pataquera. Base notes: musk, cedar, sandalwood, tonka bean, moss, vanilla bean, and copaiba essential oil.
In my case, I’ve never enjoyed citrus perfumes, but I take advantage of Natura promotions to try… but I’m not taken with this perfume. I find it very citrusy and fruity, and since it’s not my favourite olfactive line as I prefer woods, I used it to go to the gym for the fresh feeling. I also didn’t feel it was appropriate for my age; I’m 37, and since my younger sister used to wear citrus lotions, I always feel it’s a more teenage aroma.
I bought the 100ml bottle based solely on the catalogue info. On my skin, I don’t sense any citrus notes; as soon as I apply it, it smells very much of fresh flowers with a ‘green’ touch without being fresh; it makes me think of a flowery meadow after the rain. After half an hour, the floral part feels more settled as it combines with soft, warm woody aromas of cedar and sandalwood that come across as a creamy blend of almonds, resin, and vanilla. It seems a complex and sophisticated scent; unlike other Natura perfumes, it doesn’t smell so synthetic, and I’m surprised it belongs to the Ekos line as its peers are simpler and lack the opulence of Flor do Luar. I don’t feel it’s youthful or suitable for very hot climates; I liked it but wouldn’t recommend it without trying first because I think it’s one of those fragrances that easily causes nausea, and people either love or hate it without a middle ground.
Flor do Luar has a very predominant citrus note, summery, not sweet at all; it turns floral and balsamic with a revitalising effect. Performance is average, about six hours, with three hours of projection. My recommendation: if you like sweet perfumes, try it before buying as it might not be your favourite; if you prefer neutral, fresh, zero-sweetness, unisex scents, this is your option. Who will like it: lovers of refreshing and elegant, non-sweet perfumes.
Flor de Luar is a perfume I adore; perfect for everyday wear without pretension, yet it doesn’t feel indifferent. I feel it transports me to a land of fairies. It has good longevity and moderate sillage; I’d define it as a floral balsamic scent. The citrus is there but very blended with the oils. Like CarCar, I think the orange blossom essence is a bit synthetic or slightly overpowering. Nevertheless, I adore wood and oil bases, and personally, this is an everyday perfume for mild weather.
Smells like a bouquet of chamomile, anise, peppermint, and dried herbs. I didn’t like it. I sensed too much strong, balsamic copaiba oil, which inspired an old, forgotten house. I had to give it away.
I absolutely love it! It’s one of the few citrus scents that doesn’t smell like kitchen grease on my skin. I swapped it for Pink Mood, which I could no longer stand. At 35 degrees, it worked brilliantly. I feel like a bunch of wet flowers in a spring garden. It’s a lovely alternative to the super gourmand and diabetically sweet scents I usually wear. It’s refined, delicate, and elegant.
I love it! I adore citrus scents and, as mentioned before, they can sometimes smell like detergents, but Flor Do Luar is the exception. Citrus wrapped in flowers, exquisite and delicate; at times it reminds me of Nivea cream but more refined, sensory and enchanting. Its oily touch accompanies it discreetly, giving just the right creaminess. It smells clean, like a bright morning and very feminine. On my skin it projects well and lasts great. It’s super versatile for the climate. Another gem from Natura.
I’ve just started dabbling in perfumes but wanted to share my opinion based on my tastes: I thought it was superb. I bought it after smelling a sample that I adored, but when I held the bottle it disappointed me. I have issues with sweet perfumes giving me headaches, and this didn’t seem the exception. At first, it didn’t deliver that freshness I felt in the sample. But I gave it more chances and, within a week, I loved it. The headaches stopped and now I enjoy its fragrance immensely. I find it elegant, moderate, neither overwhelming nor overly fresh, perfect for any weather. I apply it to skin and clothes, and it lasts longer on clothes. Every time I smell my garments, I get a warm and elegant sensation; it’s very easy to grow fond of. I associate it with a young maternal figure, nothing like a granny’s perfume.
One of my favourites from Natura. It’s a delicate floral, different from the other floral perfumes I know.
I’ve been using it for a few days and what stands out most are the green notes and some oily or balsamic ones. Overall, it smells like aromatic soap, very clean, perfect for daytime use or straight out of the shower.
Flor Do Luar has personality; you need to know how to wear it. I didn’t like it at first, but I’ve grown to love it with use. My favourite of the Ekos is Magia da Amazônia, but I do like Flor Do Luar; I just feel I don’t need it now that I have Magia. It reminds me a lot of D&G’s The One, which I don’t like much: it’s very vintage, with green and soapy notes, quite floral. I recommend it for lovers of floral, green, soapy and fresh scents. Ideal for summer, straight out of the shower. It’s not sweet, it’s fresh and soapy. Scent 7/10, longevity 9/10, sillage 7/10, packaging 8/10, versatility 9/10, value for money 10/10. Would I buy it again? No.
I have a sample and it smells of clean flowers. At first, I thought it was jasmine, then I checked the notes. If you want to be associated with a rich, floral soap aroma, Flor Do Luar is perfect.
A wonderful perfume. That cleanliness and clean sweetness embrace me. It’s definitely one of Natura’s best.
I tried this recently and it felt ideal for summer. The woody and oily notes make it very original. It’s woody, floral, aquatic and citrusy, super versatile with its own distinct personality.
I’m not usually a fan of citrus, but Natura knows how to blend them so I actually enjoy it. It’s a citrus-floral scent, sweet without being cloying. It reminds me of Pitanga Preta but more floral. It smells very fresh and clean, with no musk or compact powder notes. It could easily be the perfect fragrance for a shampoo or soap.
It takes a little getting used to, though I absolutely love the green and citrus style. It has an interesting twist: a slightly oily note that adds sophistication. At first, it’s a bit sharp, but once it dries down, it’s incredibly gentle, calm and elegant. I tried it because of its resemblance to Cartier’s Baiser Volé and got it right: both are floral and green. The difference is that the Natura version stays more citrusy, whereas Cartier’s dries down slightly powdery, like those fruity tablet dusts, yet remains elegant and classy, not childish. They aren’t dupes, but the feeling is very similar.
