I’ve never tried the original, but I’m sure it was beautiful. I’m talking about my beloved Petra, the one that taught me to love flowers, especially neroli. Here, in ‘Floral’, the neroli works magic with the other notes, enhancing and embracing them. I adore them because they highlight my favourite jasmine (that’s why I was encouraged to buy it at this price; I wouldn’t lose anything if I didn’t like it). As in Petra, here the coconut makes it creamy, elegant and gentle. At 35, I’ve reached my floral phase, though the geranium still takes a bit of getting used to, but for now I’m enjoying this neroli renaissance. Buy blind if you like white florals with a yellowish neroli touch: it’s clean, fresh, nothing invasive and perfect for spring, summer and even autumn. How lovely it must be in autumn! And the price is unbeatable.

At 35, I’ve finally come to love florals, although I still can’t quite take to the geranium. I’m enjoying this renaissance of neroli: white florals with a yellowish hint from the neroli, nothing invasive, green, clean and fresh, ideal for spring, summer and even autumn. For the price, it’s unbeatable.
Smells like a clean, refined floral: softly talc-jasmine wrapped in musk and subtle iris. That herbal touch comes from the Rangoon vine, paired with neroli that lends a simple, effortless elegance. It’s a fragrance where less is more, very much in the spirit of 80s Carolina Herrera, inviting you to wear it with 500-thread-count sheets.
