  1. What a fresh scent! It starts with a very soft, delicate licorice note, followed by subtle vanilla and sandalwood emerging gradually. Everything is so well-blended that it smells uniform, with no single note dominating except those two. I’ve read that Granado creates it for Brazilian heat; perhaps it evolves differently depending on the climate. It reminded me of the original JPG Classique, but this is far more intimate and discreet, with a trail that’s perceptible yet not invasive. I didn’t buy it, but I loved the sample.

  2. This perfume just doesn’t work for me. Although Fragrantica praises it, it sounds strange to my nose. The blend of citrus, spices, osmanthus, and that milky sandalwood in the opening (the first two hours) is unpleasant to me, as if the notes are dancing chaotically. Only in the dry-down, with the sandalwood, vanilla, and musk, does it become warm and soft. It lasts about 8 hours with a moderate trail, but I wouldn’t buy it because I can’t stand that odd opening. Scent 2/10, longevity 8/10, projection 7/10, value for money 3/10, versatility 3/10, packaging 7/10. Would I return? No.
