Totally agree with the first one: it’s synthetic and reminds me of those scented dolls with that fresh rose scent. I love that it smells like edible sweetness; my nose picks up more on the raspberries, so sweet I almost thought they were strawberries. I detect less pomegranate and blackcurrant, but on one occasion, I got the image of a redcurrant palette—that’s how intense the sweetness is.

I don’t care that it’s 100% synthetic. Sometimes people ask if I’ve used a fancy shampoo because it smells juicy and sweet. I’m a huge fan of the blackcurrant, but without that pee-like scent some have, and the pomegranate too. What’s curious is that it uses ‘Cyclodextrin technology’: the opening notes reappear cyclically hours later. It seems to fade, then suddenly smells again when I move; it lasts forever. The bottle is gorgeous in person, typical Anna Sui with her bizarre designs (I’m a fan :P), although the contents aren’t always up to scratch, but it’s worth it.
