  A scent that captivates, clean, like sunny mornings. It’s the perfume I’d wear on a first date, the kind that makes you feel special. I took five minutes to pull out my card to buy it, even though it comes to 106 euros, so you have to think about it. I love it. But there’s always a catch… I was very disappointed by the longevity on the skin; I expected more from such an expensive perfume. After a short while, it leaves a trail of what it once was. Still, I think if it runs out I’ll buy more: it lasts little, but what it lasts is worth it.

  One of the most beautiful fragrances for summer: so refreshing, clean and subtle, yet at the same time complex and refined. It isn’t the typical citrus-herbal cologne; Gin Fizz shines with its florals (a bouquet of exquisite lilies of the valley and jasmine) accompanied by a soft orange blossom. It has personality with its base of benzoin, iris and moss. The juniper is very subtle, not repelling, just enriching. It is delicate, a little powdery, without much tenacity, but it doesn’t need it: the idea is to be free, light and not heavy. What I love is its originality in mixing citrus, herbs and flowers to create something juicy, fine and refreshing. Over time, the florals take more possession. A precious creation by Lubin. This is about the 1955 vintage.

  Lubin’s Gin Fizz is a rich, refreshing and vital aroma. It has citrus, herbal and floral notes, similar to L’Humaniste by Frapin, but with a more floral and soapy twist: bergamot, lemon, juniper and orange blossom are the stars. It isn’t as sparkling, but it is very refreshing, light and with refined complexity. The quality shows and the performance is normal. I see it as super unisex; although it isn’t original, it deserves respect for maintaining its revitalising qualities for years. Rating: 8/10.

  Gin Fizz smells great, fresh and elegant. The problem is that, in my case, it doesn’t last at all; by the time I’ve applied it, it’s gone and the trail is mediocre. Although the scent is very pleasant and it is a niche fragrance, it’s not worth buying at its price.

The base adds a powdery, light touch that envelops without losing transparency. The result is a sober, fresh composition with a distinguished note that holds from start to finish. It doesn’t have an intense trail or long-lasting power, and that’s part of its charm: it accompanies without imposing. It feels comfortable at work or in moments when you seek elegance and freshness without artifice. A luminous, timeless perfume for those who value well-worn discretion.
