A proper floral and fresh garden; I loved its scent on my skin. What a pity it didn’t last as long.
A beautiful flanker, I like it much more than the original, very floral and fresh, I swear it has blackberry in it. Long-lasting and with very good projection.
I tested this in-store on the same day as the Ginza (the first one). This is more delicate, subtle, imperceptible, and generic, whereas the Ginza Murasaki smells more intense and lasted longer on my skin. It would have been strange not to like it, as looking at the notes, most are my favourites (apple, jasmine, woods, violets…). It comes out very fruity, with the apple being particularly noticeable, then evolves into the florals where some are barely perceptible and the wisteria stands out, with which I’m less familiar. When it dries down, the woods are noticeable, but the sandalwood is very light. I’m dying for it to get hotter because it will look much better, but I’m happy with the purchase. For a floral/fruity EDP, the longevity is good, about 6~7 hours on skin.
At first glance, it’s not bad. For a couple of hours, it smells very fruity, reminding me of the Fructis DNA, hehe; if this is high perfumery, then so must Fructis be? hehe. Later, the floral combo becomes more noticeable. The performance isn’t bad, on paper. It’s not a benchmark for quality, but this is more my style than the perfume it derives from.
I detect an undeclared base note in this Ginza that holds everything together with great finesse: a rice powder base, which might be my own synesthesia, but I’m obsessed with it even if it’s very subtle. It’s a correct and lovely floral-fruity scent, with an interesting jasmine that becomes more generic over time. I wouldn’t add it to my collection, but it’s a good blind buy for anyone seeking elegant and simple perfumes. It won’t blow your mind, but it does the job and conveys quality (though not originality). If that rice powder note were stronger, I’d eat it up. The bottle is a real treat.
I absolutely love it. Smells super fresh, unique, and gives me a real boost of energy. After testing it, I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. To me, it smells very much like pomegranate with champagne. Over time, the floral notes emerge. On skin, it lasts until my shower, and on clothes, almost forever.
