  • Very rich and fresh, although short-lasting. But for that price… it’s ideal for after a shower or to go out fresh for a walk.

  • An ultra-summery aroma that doesn’t disappoint. The best thing about Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea collection is the quality of its ingredients in creating these fresh waters. They are colognes with medium-low longevity, but they manage to surprise. On my skin, the Green Teas last better than some expensive fresh perfumes. You can see the oil trail from each spray; the concentration is acceptable. It smells exactly as its name suggests: fresh cucumber, a dewy field, a sunny early morning. It could be a body mist, but it lasts longer. If you don’t like cucumber or its teenage summer vibe, it won’t be your style, but if you enjoy that green watermelon note that others find nothing of, you’ll feel right at home. Once that green fruit wave passes, it feels clean and fresh like all the Green Teas. In short: simple, refreshing and unpretentious. For a good spritz after a bath, without regrets, on hot days.

  • We have to accept that in this life there are things that don’t last: a bouquet of daisies, love at twelve, a bee’s life. But all of them last longer than this Arden wonder which fails even to pass a basic test. The opening is promising, crystal clear and summery: realistic freshly cut cucumber, salty and fizzy… and fifteen seconds later it says goodbye. It’s gone, nothing left. For €12 you can dream of having spent the day at the beach, showered and eaten salad with wet hair, but that’s all it delivers. It’s a pity because Green Tea Cucumber is lovely, but realistically it doesn’t persist for a minute. Even an Álvarez Gómez gives twice the performance. If you want to smell like this but with more longevity (and pay more), try Salado de Carner Barcelona.

  • My favourite from the entire Arden Green Tea collection. Smells great, very fresh and pleasant for summer. The only downside is that it lasts very little, what a shame. I’ve bought it several summers because it’s affordable, but I use it as a body mist after showering or to cool down on the hottest days, not as a long-lasting perfume.

  • A delicious and super refreshing cologne for summer, ideal after a shower to smell clean and fresh, or for sleeping on hot nights. It sticks to the skin the next day, so for me, the longevity is excellent. My trick: let perfumes oxidate for one or two months after the first sprays, and many improve significantly; this is one of them.

Cucumber freshness, but without going overboard like the Paris Hilton version. Feels like Nautica Voyage minus the marine notes and vanilla. It’s the freshest and I think the best in the entire line. The nectarine and sakura scents aren’t bad, but this is on another level. Costs $17.
