I feel like describing it this way, but to me, it smells like lemon insecticide with a hint of apple, which could remind one of Light Blue, but of very poor quality. I don’t sense any mint whatsoever. In fact, I don’t notice any other notes, apart from the ginger which is noticeable in the opening and disappears within minutes. It has good longevity and projection for a citrus, but it smells like cleaner or insecticide. I don’t hate it, but I think there are many better scents available.
Looking for summer scents, I found some reviews of this fragrance, plus a good price and the option to test it, so here goes my review. I perceive a lemon aroma, a bit of mint, and something else that adds freshness, floral notes, and some woods, drying down as its name suggests to sweet lemon. Completely unisex, I loved it. Longevity is 3 hours and requires reapplication. Nothing but positive aspects to this fragrance, which cost me $13 in Chile.
A whisper of lemon that evolves into a lemon Ricola candy. A rich tenderness of natural citrus sweetness with a herbal touch, progressing into a warm, comforting sweetness. However, that sweetness is quite distinctive and natural. It’s not a pastry sweetness like in D&G’s Devotion, but rather a lemon tea with herbs and a touch of sugar. Eventually, I visualise lemon Ricola candies. A softly lemonised, discreet and comforting fragrance.
Ay Lemon Dulci, if only it lasted longer… It’s a delight, smelling like a lemon granita with a hint of mint leaves. The scent is divine, fresh, and wonderfully pleasant, but like all citrus fragrances, it suffers from the curse of poor longevity. When I wear it, I apply 6-7 sprays because it’s incredibly refreshing, yet it doesn’t last more than a couple of hours. Sillage and projection are both scarce.
